A great-grandmother, age 95, is still breaking swimming world records — and the pictures alone demonstrate her remarkably fit physique and health routine.
Jane Asher recently achieved five age group world records, adding to her already 100-strong collection.
The swimming legend from Merton Park, South London, also has a British Empire Medal for her dedication to the sport. She’s in the International Swimming Hall of Fame as well, as news agency SWNS reported.
Looking back on her long career, which includes 26 gold medals, Asher said she credits her love of the water for her good health and long-lasting happiness.

“It does keep you healthy,” she said. “I have taught people who just had surgery — and their doctors were amazed by how much they improved because of the swimming.”
Asher said she wants to “show people what a lot of fun you can have if you like competing and how good you feel when you work hard at something.”

She acknowledged that “quite a lot” of young people nowadays “have put on weight. Swimming doesn’t help you to lose weight, but it finds the muscles. … It opened a whole new world for me. It made me happy and healthy.”
Taught by her mother, then teaches others
Born in Zambia, South Africa, Asher spent most of her childhood in Johannesburg, she said, where her English mother taught her to swim. Her interest in swimming only grew at boarding school, where she was allowed to use the pool on her own in the mornings, mostly doing the backstroke.
6 PILLARS OF A HEALTHIER, AGE-DEFYING LIFESTYLE IN 2026, ACCORDING TO EXPERTS
Today, Asher is a grandmother of 11 and a great-grandmother of six — and wherever she’s lived throughout her life, she’s always joined local swim teams, per the SWNS report.
“It opened a whole new world for me. It made me happy and healthy.”
Once she even joined a rowing club just to be in the water.
Asher married a vet named Robbie — and when he had an accident at work, she decided to get a job teaching swimming at the local school to help pay the family bills.
NEARLY HALF OF SENIORS IMPROVE WITH AGE — AND RESEARCHERS THINK THEY KNOW WHY
She said her mother “was taught to swim in the sea in Cornwall and was addicted to water. We spent all of our free time just jumping in and out of the water. I took to it quite quickly.”
In Asher’s very first swim race, “a girl said that I kicked like hell. It was because my mother was watching. Now every time I have a backstroke race, I think, ‘Mom is up there watching.’”

After transitioning to teaching adults how to swim, Asher started entering swimming competitions when she was 50 years old. She broke 100 records by age 80.
The legendary swimmer broke her first European record at an 800m race in Crystal Palace — after a wedding where she’d had a few drinks.

To this day, she competes in several different races, but said her favorite swim race is the individual medley, which involves backstroke, breaststroke, front crawl and butterfly.
Said Asher, “When my husband died, I started filling the time, but it was hard because there is this big hole in your life. But swimming has given me such good friends, and they give back to me. All of my kids are very sporty, and I am very proud of them, and I didn’t realize that they are proud of me.”

She noted, “Without friends, life doesn’t happen. There is always somebody pushing you on. I think that is what keeps me going — [knowing that] somebody [is] waiting for me.”

“It is a really good non-contact sport,” she said. “You can’t hurt yourself. Running hurts your knees and your hips, and even tennis causes shoulder problems. … I had a good kick with very strong legs.”
“You must not stiffen up,” said Asher, shown above in both photos, “because then you go down like a stone.”(SWNS)
She also pointed out, “It is good to have something to think about. It is a bit like meditation. That is the secret, of course. You must not stiffen up, because then you go down like a stone.”

Asher said she has no plans to slow down.
She’s currently working toward her next competition and another potential world record in Budapest, noted the SWNS report.

Are straight millennial men to blame for the current dating crisis? One report says so (Picture: Getty)
Men are from Mars, and women are from Venus. It’s a phrase most people in the dating pool have encountered at one point or another.
Three decades on from when John Gray’s seminal work was first published, this sentiment still seems to resonate with fatigued dating app users who just can’t seem to get on with their matches.
Forbes reports that 78% of people who use ‘the apps’ to find love feel emotionally, mentally or physically exhausted by the process, while 41% have been ghosted, and 40% say they struggle to connect.
Women are also more likely to be fed up with it than men (80%, compared to 74%), which certified sex therapist, Dr Rufus Tony Spann, puts down to the constant cycle of raised hopes before a promising prospect ends up falling flat.
Now, though, there looks to be an explanation for this crisis of connection and commitment – and it’s nothing to do with the technology itself.
According to a previous report from Feeld, the problem is actually straight, millennial men.
Millennial men aren’t updating their dating app profiles, apparently (Picture: Getty Images)
The 2025 study of the dating app’s 2,500 members revealed nearly seven in 10 heterosexual men aged 29 to 44 have either never updated or rarely update their dating app profile since they first filled it out.
So, even if they’ve been swiping for a few years now, their profile picture might still be the same as when they first logged in. And these snaps can be questionable to start with, as evidenced by the ‘man holding fish’ trope’s refusal to die out, despite women’s pleas.

On the contrary, women are much more likely to change their bio over time (27.8% have done so since downloading the app).
In fact, millennial women are making tweaks to their profiles the most, and they’re more likely to do so if they identify as queer, pansexual, polysexual, omnisexual, or bisexual (89%, that is).
For women, updates are important in helping to pre-empt common questions asked by their matches, and to lay down the law on their deal-breakers, something that men are 2.6 times less likely to do.
Straight, millennial men also aren’t committing to long distance (Picture: Getty Images)
Men also seem reluctant to put the miles in for love, consistently choosing shorter maximum match distances (which they’re more likely to tweak over time), while women maintain higher distance preferences regardless of how often they tweak their search settings.
Essentially, the numbers suggest that they’re not putting in the graft.
‘When you’re trying to figure out who is most likely to sit in each of these categories, it’s not so much sexual orientation or age or geography – the clearest pattern comes down to gender,’ dating expert and journalist Mona Chalabi said of the research.
‘People who identify as men change their search settings more, and women spend more time changing their profiles.
‘When I first looked at those findings, I sighed. I wondered if men are more inclined to believe that there’s something wrong with their environment, whereas women are more inclined to think there’s something wrong with themselves.’
But as Mona noted, there’s a multitude of reasons for this gender split. First of all, she pondered whether perhaps women are simply ‘really clear about what they want, and don’t want to change their search preferences.’
There’s also the possibility that their lives are more dynamic, and are subsequently changing more frequently, in ‘more exciting ways than they want to describe in their bios,’ she said.
‘Whatever the reasons are, most of us don’t simply sign up and search,’ she concludes.
‘Almost 90% of us change our bios at some point after we join the site, and 92% change our search settings.
‘Because good connections require luck and a bit of effort—most of us know that means a little tinkering now and then.’

This week’s diarist doesn’t always enjoy the sex she’s having (Picture: Myles Goode)
Welcome to How I Do It, the series in which we give you a seven-day sneak peek into the sex life of a stranger.
This week we hear from Lillith Lodge, a single escort and content creator from Brisbane.
After starting out as an exotic dancer, she became a sex worker four-and-a-half years ago in a bid to make more money. ‘I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to do it at first, but I’ve never looked back,’ Lillith tells Metro.
Also candid about the realities of sex work, the 29-year-old admits that although she has a ‘positive relationship with sex’, it can sometimes get a little clinical or uncomfortable with clients.
‘I’ve had a few times where I’ve had to ask a client to leave the appointment early because of their behaviour, Lillith explains.
‘I’d like sex to always be enjoyable in an ideal world, but sometimes the way they have sex with me means this isn’t possible.’
Even so, she is happy with how her career has panned out as she can make up to thousands of pounds a day, as well as sometimes getting to – and play – with friends.
Without further ado, here’s how Lillith got on this week.
The following is, as you might expect, NSFW…

Monday
I get up at 7am and head to the gym for my usual cardio, then I have two hours to get ready for my 10am.
This is a client I’ve seen roughly 10 times. He was initially very nervous and shy but he’s opened up over time. I think that’s why he sees sex workers, because he finds approaching women intimidating.
I can be myself with him without judgement which is nice, but the sex is a little awkward, due to his inexperience.
He stands while I give him a blowjob before getting into the main event. We always start with me on top, followed by missionary, followed by another (very sloppy) blowjob.
He doesn’t finish – he never does – but this isn’t an uncommon thing with a lot of the men I see. There are lots of reasons why they can’t, and he tells me he hasn’t finished with anyone, ever. I still enjoy our time together because we get along so well.
After, I have a quick lunch and an energy drink before heading to the bank to deposit my earnings.
Back home I sit with my ‘available now’ flag showing on my OnlyFan ads to notify clients I am waiting for work – but it’s a slow season, and I guess £625 is all I’m making today. Instead, I spend time on my account replying to messages.
Tuesday
I wake up late but I’m ready in time for my 11am three-hour booking. My bestie Hannah joins us and, oh, how I love a threesome – there are so many more positions you can do!
I’ve been with this client for about a year, he flies in from Sydney just to see me and he’s an absolute treat.
I don’t think I’ve cum so many times in a row in my life, but this is the joy of three participants. Side by side blowjobs where our tongues touch send me wild. I have an insane orgasm riding his face, then another two while Hannah goes down on me.
Honestly, it’s bookings like this where I feel unbelievably grateful to be able to do this.
Just an hour after this booking I have a two hour session with a brand new client. It’s nice meeting people when they are polite and respectful like he is, which isn’t always the case.
We start with a blowjob, then I climb on top for a few minutes, and it’s the good old ‘frog legs’ riding that gets him. He’s lovely and well behaved, but I don’t get any sexual pleasure from it. I don’t care, though, I’ve had my fix anyway.
Today I made £1,666 for my first booking (because he always tips £208 on top of what he owes) and £1,093 for the second one. It’s a good number for a days work.
Wednesday
After a gym session, I’ve got 90 minutes to transform myself from a sweaty mess for an hour-long booking with a married client. I try not to think about that – if it wasn’t me doing it, it would be someone else.
I’ve seen him twice before – he’s friendly and polite, but doesn’t like to talk much, which is understandable.
We exchange cash in the first five minutes and get straight to it after he takes a shower. We go for 50 minutes straight before he finally finishes.
I find the way he f**ks me to be too hard to be enjoyable, and this is where we walk a thin line as escorts. It’s not so rough that I need to tell him to stop, but I don’t enjoy it. I prefer a build up, before easing into a fast tempo.
However, he just wants to f**k like a jackrabbit, so sometimes he’s just ramming it into my sides.
I should also add he had a small amount of cheese under his foreskin, which really turned me off. Thankfully he didn’t pay the extra £156 for a condom-free blowjob.
Once he’s gone I have four hours to eat, clean the room, answer messages and get ready for my next appointment, which is a client I’ve seen many times, who’s in a wheelchair so the way we do it is a little different.
We start out with a good chat, catching up for 30 minutes while he waits for his blue pill to kick in. He says he feels more sensation when it’s slow and gentle, so I have to be careful not to injure him by putting too much weight on certain parts of his body.
He loves me on top, but we also do missionary and me on my side with my leg back over him. This position is great because he gets in deeper. I really enjoy our time together. Regular clients are just the easiest, as after a few visits it really just feels natural.
He pay me £703 and I really should work more, but I have a custom video to complete before I go to bed, so I focus on that instead before turning in.
Thursday
It’s my day off from escorting today, so I go to the gym and then head to lunch with a couple of industry friends, Jade Blair and Hannah Williams. It’s so nice to have peers I can talk to about everything. We just get each other.
When I get home at 2pm, I plan my flights and accommodation for two tours I have coming up. I then pop out to the shops quickly to do a restock because I’m really low on mouth wash and that’s a disaster waiting to happen, as all clients must shower and use mouth wash on arrival.
At 4pm I record two custom videos. One is easy because it’s just sitting down and talking about my day and my goals, nothing sexual. The other is a foot fetish video, but it’s tricky. He wants me to do a foot job on a dildo but it doesn’t suction to the ground very well…
Friday
I have a prebooking for 7pm tonight but the day is pretty empty. I work on getting a backlog of TikTok content prepared so I have things to post everyday.
When my client arrives it turns into a five-hour booking. He’s a regular so we yap each others ears off.
We have sex for about 15 minutes but he gets bored very easily.
He’s an older guy and was a virgin when I first met him a year ago. He’s seen lots of working girls but he really isn’t that bothered about sex.
His d**k is huge by the way,one of the biggest I’ve ever seen, -and it’s very thick.
He can’t feel much when he has sex so we just have a great time hanging out, just kissing and cuddling.
Saturday
I have a lie in so I can stay up late as that’s usually when I make money a Saturday. I don’t have any pre-appointments but then I suddenly get a 30-minute booking. I don’t like these much because they’re rushed and the guys often need more time, but I love this one! He really knows what he’s doing and we have great chemistry.
I get to finish too, in laying down doggy-style which is my favourite.
I snag another booking at 6pm – a gentleman with a wedding ring. He’s polite but wants to get straight to business. He gives me oral which is a nice treat (it’s not often someone wants me to finish first), and he’s incredibly good so I climax in less than 10 minutes.
Then I climb on top, followed by reverse, doggy and finally missionary. To finish I give him a big sloppy blowjob and he busts in my mouth right as the time runs out.
He loves watching me swallow and says his wife never does that.
Another booking comes through at 11pm for three hours. I am so tired and the clients are a handful because it’s a party booking, three working girls for three guys in a huge hotel room.
They’re drunk and snort cocaine every five minutes. This is sadly part of the job. I don’t hate these bookings and I’ll have a drink, but I do hate it when they pressure me to do drugs, as I simply don’t want to.
Clients are given a full list of services I offer and allow before making a booking, but when they’re this drunk they forget or disregard it. Often they are very rough, and might choke without consent. They’re also clumsy and seem oblivious to their own strength.
The guy I’m ‘assigned to’ can’t get his d**k to work because of all the cocaine. It’s like a big floppy snake, no matter what I do.
He gets mad I’m not ‘doing it properly’. I hate the rage that comes out of these guys when they’re off their face. It’s safe to say that no penis enters me during this booking. Just an hour of sucking on a floppy d**k.
Sunday
I’m filming a scene for my OnlyFans with a guy called Jake this morning. It should be good fun because we’ve worked together before.
I’ve never squirted in a scene before and, once we get going, it finally happens. Oh my lord! We have a full waterfall caught on camera. It’s one of the best orgasms I’ve ever had.
We do pretty much every position under the sun, and end with a cream pie- which is a term for when ejaculation runs out of a woman and gets filmed. It is very rare, since all my clients use protection – however it’s a little different for scenes, as we always have STD checks before them.
I’m starving now. It’s currently 6pm and that scene really took it out of me. I’m just going to work on some Tiktoks and social media stuff, reply to fan messages and then head to bed!

Before having a daughter, I admit I was completely oblivious to this problem (Picture: Neil G)
My daughter was on the bus home when a boy at her school began making rude gestures towards her.
Elodie told me he was egged on by his friends, who were all laughing about it. I was horrified when I heard about this – and that was just the start.
She was just 12 when she first experienced public sexual harassment.
Now aged 16, Elodie has told me something like this happens regularly, around once a month, and she worries about being harassed and humiliated almost every time she goes out.
As her dad, this is heartbreaking to hear.
That’s why I’m incredibly pleased that the government has brought into force a law that sexual harassment in public will be considered a specific offence.
But my main concern is still raising awareness. Without this, harassment will still happen and the impact on the victim will still be felt.
I hope new laws like this can put these issues forefront in the minds of the public.
Before having a daughter, I admit I was completely oblivious to this problem.
Yes, I’d always felt some of the things I heard men say to girls and women were unacceptable. But what I see now really scares me – the nastiness and abusive comments are not ‘banter’, they’re controlling and hurtful. There is a real intention to cause harm behind these words.
This Is Not Right
On November 25, 2024 Metro launched This Is Not Right, a campaign to address the relentless epidemic of violence against women.
With the help of our partners at Women’s Aid, This Is Not Right aims to shine a light on the sheer scale of this national emergency.
You can find more articles here, and if you want to share your story with us, you can send us an email at vaw@metro.co.uk.
Read more:
So many men I speak to when discussing Elodie’s experiences, like friends and family members, are shocked when I tell them what is ‘acceptable’ within the law, like making sexually explicit comments or sexually propositioning someone in public.
They think about their wives and daughters, and cannot believe so much harmful behaviour is legal, particularly when these same behaviours are specifically banned in the workplace through the Equality Act.
And what is more devastating is that Elodie is not alone. Research from Plan International UK found 75% of girls, some as young as 12, in the UK have experienced some form of public sexual harassment.
For some girls, this is a daily occurrence that affects their walk to school, where they exercise and where they spend time with their friends. Some have even avoided school altogether.
Despite my fears, I try my best to reassure my daughter (Picture: Neil G)
I worry about Elodie experiencing public sexual harassment all the time: my fear is she’s at risk of assault, or even abduction, when walking alone. She shares my concern that a comment could quickly escalate.
When Elodie is planning to go out, I have a real mental battle with myself. Should I raise the subject of staying safe and put this issue on the table, or leave it and hope nothing happens?
Elodie is a very level-headed young woman and I trust she is aware of the risks, so I don’t want to limit her life experiences by raising my own fears. But, of course, that doesn’t mean that I don’t sit and watch both the clock and the phone when she is away from home.
My anxiety increases later in the day – evenings are particularly bad because I fear she could be assaulted after dark, and winter is worse again as everyone is bundled up and less aware of what’s going on around them.
I also really worry when she’s on public transport. Anyone could sit next to her and touch her inappropriately or prevent her getting off at her stop, and my wife and I wouldn’t know until it’s too late. That fills me with dread and it’s so easy to see it happening.
We often pick Elodie up when she’s been out and always check she doesn’t walk home on her own. We’ve also all agreed to use an app on her phone so we can check where she is.
But it’s a tough balancing act – she’s a young woman and we want to give her freedom. We don’t want her to feel she’s being watched all the time by her parents, and we also don’t want to worry ourselves silly as that isn’t healthy for us or Elodie.
Despite my fears, I try my best to reassure my daughter. Until today, there was no single piece of legislation to protect girls and women from public sexual harassment.
New strong and effective legislation would send a clear signal that public sexual harassment is not OK (Picture: Neil G)
It was a law that my Elodie had a part in, and I’m so proud of my daughter and the fact she has been involved in something that will make such an important difference to girls across the country. She feels empowered by how her hard work and commitment to this issue is starting to pay off.
. We need to do everything we can to help create a society where this kind of behaviour is seen by everyone for what it is: harmful and unacceptable.
As parents, we have a crucial role to play in educating both boys and girls that this kind of behaviour, far from being harmless or even a way of complimenting a girl, is always wrong.
Men also need to model good behaviour for their sons and grandsons, as well as calling out friends or colleagues if they see them sexually harassing someone.
This has really changed how I behave when I’m out too: I’ll often try to walk in front of a woman so she can see me, instead of hearing me behind her and potentially worrying about who is there.
No-one should feel uncomfortable going about their daily life and the long-term psychological impact on girls is severe, let alone any physical threats they may also face. All I want is for Elodie – and all girls in the UK – to feel safe. I don’t think that’s too much to ask.

The Full Moon in Libra on April 2 shines a bright, unflinching light on our relationships — and not everything it reveals will feel comfortable.
Libra is the sign of balance, fairness and connection, so this lunation asks: where are things out of sync? Where are you over-giving, under-valuing yourself, or avoiding a truth to keep the peace?
Full Moons bring clarity, closure and turning points. This one is about seeing things as they really are — in love, friendships, and even your relationship with yourself.
It’s not about blame, but about honesty. Because once you see the truth, you can finally decide what needs to shift. Here, the tarot guides you towards what your star sign needs to face up to now
Aries
March 21 to April 20
Not everything needs to be 50/50 (Picture: Getty/Metro)
Tarot card for Aries for the Full Moon in Libra: The Chariot
Meaning: The Chariot shines an unflinching light on the shared purpose/aligned goals aspect of your relationships. The truth you can’t now unsee is that you are not necessarily pulling in the same direction with folk that you should be.
This is solvable. Not every goal or ambition or project has to be shared and maybe your (or their) expectation that they should be is flawed. Separate what you work on together vs solo, and make it clear. Then talk about what you do work on together, what requires both of your energy and attention and resources, and make a plan about it. Clarity can repair the cracks.

Taurus
April 21 to May 21
Are you wearing rose-coloured glasses? (Picture: Getty/Metro)
Tarot card for Taurus for theFull Moon in Libra: Nine of Cups
Meaning: The Nine of Cups shines an unflinching light on the idealised aspects of your relationships. The truth you can’t now unsee is that you are projecting a fantasy ‘gloss’ over the reality of someone you wish would act as you need them to. But they’re not. And the only one being exhausted or impacted by this pretence and the effort it takes is you, which is like a double whammy of disappointment.
Taurus, let it be what it is. Resolve not to make excuses, overcompensate, or step in to help. Spend at least a week with their ‘raw’ behaviour and build you notes, evidence and thoughts about it. And then it’s time to talk, don’t leave this hanging. Deal with it. Head on.

Gemini
May 22 to June 21
Let them make the first move for once (Picture: Getty/Metro)
Tarot card for Gemini for the Full Moon in Libra: Six of Coins
Meaning: The Six of Coins shines an unflinching light on the mutual support and quid pro quo aspect of your relationships. The truth you can’t now unsee is that you give more than you get (all Geminis are built generous) and the attention/energy/resource flows one way. This is not sustainable, soon you will come to resent them.
Step back. Stop giving. Give them the gift of your absence or neutrality. And see what happens. The awful truth is that if nothing happens, you know this was all your hard work and not one scrap of effort from them. But I think there will be something, I think they will notice the shift and lean in to see what’s going on. Then you can talk. Real talk.

Cancer
June 22 to July 23
Shake things up this Full Moon (Picture: Getty/Metro)
Tarot card for Cancer for the Full Moon in Libra: The Fool
Meaning: The Fool shines an unflinching light on the need for new faces or energy in your relationships. The truth you can’t now unsee is that you have fallen into a rut, a habit, a pattern with your approach or actions around your relationships. It’s a Groundhog Day moment.
It’s time for a shake up, a glow up, a change, a surge of new ideas and inputs. Resolve that this is a year for making new friends, trying different places or activities with folk, not replaying the same old same old, repairing breaches or drifts that have gone on for too long, and basically looking with fresh eyes at your family, love and social life. So much could change for the better and you will feel the benefits.

Leo
July 24 to August 23
Consistency is key (Picture: Getty/Metro)
Tarot card for Leo for the Full Moon in Libra: The Wheel of Fortune
Meaning: The Wheel of Fortune shines an unflinching light on the volatile, often hot/cold, nature of your relationships. The truth you can’t now unsee is that you can be inconsistent in your attention towards others and, over time, they can take that as meaning you don’t really care. And you do. You just get distracted, attracted and magnetised by other stuff.
Leo, notice the patterns here, see the history and story of your friendships and love affairs and where you have drifted away whilst they waited… and then didn’t. You can change this pattern with conscious attentiveness… do you wish to?

Virgo
August 24 to September 23
Overthinking is toxic (Picture: Getty/Metro)
Tarot card for Virgo for the Full Moon in Libra: Nine of Swords
Meaning: The Nine of Swords shines an unflinching light on the anxiety and worry you can project into your relationships. The truth you can’t now unsee is that you overthink stuff, come to negative conclusions and then almost will them into real life.
What we think about… we attract. So you are in more control than you may realise over your relationship outcomes and, actually, it’s an ‘easy’ job of just worrying less and having fun in the moment more. Is that so bad? Not at all. Live for now, savour the magic you make together, forget the past and don’t dread the future. Easy!

Libra
September 24 to October 23
No more doormat (Picture: Getty/Metro)
Tarot card for Libra for the Full Moon in Libra: The Emperor
Meaning: The Emperor shines an unflinching light on the power dynamics in your relationships. The truth you can’t now unsee is that you are often done to, vs being the doer, that you often cede influence to others for the sake of a quiet life. But every inch yielded soon becomes a mile.
Some folk are never content with what they have or wield over you, they always want more. And you then have to draw a boundary, made all the harder because time has passed and things are taken for granted. Resolve to set tighter boundaries and fairer dynamics from the start in future. Start as you mean to go on, and this won’t keep happening.

Scorpio
October 24 to November 22
Different strokes for different folks (Picture: Getty/Metro)
Tarot card for Scorpio for the Full Moon in Libra: Ten of Wands
Meaning: The Ten of Wands shines an unflinching light on the intensity score of your relationships. The truth you can’t now unsee is that you sometimes go all in, too hard and too fast, and then this isn’t reciprocated and the whole thing falls apart — when maybe a gentler pace and expectation could’ve set the scene for a blossoming bond.
Not everyone is as fearless and high octane as you are. Not everyone can cope with the massive passion, ambition and fascination you have for those you truly love and want to be around. Let folk be as they are, let the pace and tone of your bonds unfold and build naturally, and don’t worry about the ‘small stuff’. Relax and accept folk, and you will enjoy other people a lot more.

Sagittarius
November 23 to December 21
Slow down, Sag (Picture: Getty/Metro)
Tarot card for Sagittarius for the Full Moon in Libra: The Star
Meaning: The Star shines an unflinching light on the tendency to overhype, and then crash and burn in, your relationships. The truth you can’t now unsee is that you tend to place unrealistic expectations ideals on folk quite quickly, when things start well, and then it’s hard to keep that up. Then when it falters, you lose interest; onto the next.
The pattern of highs and lows is common with many Sagittarian folk because you live at a high energy level and need continual stimulus and excitement. It can be tiring though, right? So settle down, relax, let things get boring even… they’ll soon pick up again. You can’t live at a million miles an hour 24/7.

Capricorn
December 22 to January 21
Your standards are exacting (Picture: Getty/Metro)
Tarot card for Capricorn for the Full Moon in Libra: Ten of Coins
Meaning: The Ten of Coins shines an unflinching light on the longevity aspect of your relationships. The truth you can’t now unsee is that you crave certainty, stability and, yes, longevity so much that you can almost end up weighing up whether people are ‘worth’ your time and effort, then quickly writing off connections that don’t measure up.
But maybe you’re too hasty sometimes. Not everyone is as steadfast, reliable and consistent as you, in fact rarely. So you may need to give folk some leeway about how they show up for you, within reason. Don’t write them off too quickly, there’s more to a good bond than how often, or for how long, they’re around.

Aquarius
January 22 to February 19
Look deeper (Picture: Getty/Metro)
Tarot card for Aquarius for the Full Moon in Libra: Justice
Meaning: Justice shines an unflinching light on the purity and transparency aspect of your relationships. The truth you can’t now unsee is that you crave the company of folk who are overtly and consistently ethical, honest and almost ‘open books’ in terms of how you see them.
Purity and morality matter to you. Sometimes, though, you can place that on their political or ideological opinions and posturing rather than their actions, daily struggles and heroic deeds that pass by quietly. See deeper into people than what they present to you. Look beyond labels and placards and opinions. You can disagree with folk and still enjoy a beautiful bond. Don’t miss out.

Pisces
February 20 to March 20
Put the past behind you (Picture: Getty/Metro)
Tarot card for Pisces for the Full Moon in Libra: Six of Cups
Meaning: The Six of Cups shines an unflinching light on the nostalgic aspect of your relationships. The truth you can’t now unsee is that you can compare and favour past bonds over present ones. Romanticising the past (almost as a form of escapism) can sour your experience and enjoyment of what’s right in front of you. Be wary of this habit.
What’s done is done. Relationships fade and fall for a reason. Be honest with yourself about this, not to undermine your whole feeling and memory bank about the past, but just to process and ‘park it’ so that you’re not always wondering what might have been. Give yourself permission to fully embrace the present.

Whisk all ingredients until smooth; it should resemble pancake batter
Keep cold, add ice cubes to assist if the beer is warm. You can also add additional ingredients for fun. Kleinfeld says he likes the way parsley looks in the batter, also turmeric can brighten the colour as well.
Pat dry and season the fish before dipping it into batter
When pulling fish out of the batter, allow the batter to naturally drip from the fish before placing it into hot oil
Cook fish at 375 degrees Clecius until desired colour, place on paper towel or drip tray before serving.
Delays at San Francisco International Airport could reach up to 30 minutes after the Federal Aviation Administration on Tuesday imposed new safety restrictions on landings.
The restrictions coincide with a construction project that will take two runways out of commission for six months, KRON4 reported. Those runways closed Monday and won’t reopen until October, the airport announced previously.
The airport initially predicted that less than 10 percent of flights would delayed when construction started, most likely around 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. However, the new FAA restrictions have bumped that forecast to up to a quarter of flights being delayed.

The new rule from the aviation regulator prohibits airplanes from doing side-by-side landings on the still-open east-to-west runways, even with the other aircraft in sight. Instead, pilots must take a staggered approach to landing.
The construction project aims to repave the airport’s surface layer, make improvements to taxiways, upgrade lighting and paint new striping and markings, the airport said.
The FAA told the San Francisco Chronicle that the new landing rules were implemented independent of construction, as the agency has been “exploring ways to safely increase the airport arrival rate.”
Side-by-side landings had been permitted at the airport in good weather, but recent aviation-safety issues have come under increased scrutiny.

Most recently, a fatal plane crash took place at LaGuardia Airport in New York airport last week.
According to a flight-tracking website Flightly, nearly a quarter of arriving flights at San Francisco airport were delayed as of Tuesday. Forty percent of departures were also late, taking off 25 minutes later on average.
