What did Vitaly do? Controversial streamer issues apology after wrongfully accusing a man of being child predator on livestream
Controversial Kick streamer Vitaly Zdorovetskiy has issued an apology after he and his team wrongfully accused a man of being a child predator on a livestream. On April 13, 2026, a six-minute-21-second video from Vitaly’s Kick IRL broadcast, which appears to have been taken down, went viral on X.
It showed the America-based Russian content creator confronting a man during his Catching Child Predators livestream.
Zdorovetskiy was heard saying:
“You want to rape a 16-year-old? Oh, she did. Where is the Bluetooth speaker?”
The individual refuted Vitaly’s allegations by showing his phone to the Kick streamer and his team members, and said:
“I swear to god, she never told me… I swear. No, I swear to god. Wait, no, dude, listen, 18, I swear to god. I swear to god, I don’t move like that… no, no, no! I swear to god! Wait, I swear to god! Wait, please pull it up. Okay, wait, it is a CNC kink, it’s a public kink, like, I even said, I have the text right here. I told her, ‘Consensual, non-consensual.’ Literally, I told her up here. Look.”
The person whom Vitaly accused eventually called the police to the location.
Vitaly admits he wrongfully accused a person of being a child predator live on stream and issues an apology
On April 13, 2026, Vitaly took to X to issue a statement regarding the recent episode of the Catching Child Predators Kick stream, admitting that he “mistakenly portrayed” the individual as a child predator.
Claiming that this was “a mistake that he deeply regretted,” the 34-year-old wrote:
“It has come to my attention that on a recent episode of Catching Child Predators, my team and I mistakenly portrayed Akash Singhania as a child predator. This was a mistake that I deeply regret. He never intended to meet a minor and has been cleared of all wrongdoing. I apologize to Mr. Singhania, his family, his friends, and anyone else affected by this mistake.”
He added:
“To be clear, the work we do to expose predatory behavior is of the utmost importance, but in doing so, we cannot lose sight of the truth. I have removed the video from all my accounts, and I ask that anyone who has saved it please do the same. Though I never encourage anyone to attempt to contact any person in my videos, I ask that anyone who is attempting to contact Mr. Singhaniacease at once. This was a learning experience for my team and me, and we will ensure that we remain committed to the truth, as we always have.”
The person whom Vitaly accused of being a child predator issues a statement
Akash Singhania, the person whom Vitaly accused of being a child predator during his Kick stream, has issued a statement via an X post. According to him, the Santa Ana Police Department conducted an investigation and determined that he is “innocent of any wrongdoing.”
Furthermore, Singhania stated that the “impact of the false accusation has been significant”:
“The officers from the Santa Ana Police Department, who I called to the scene, conducted their own assessment and confirmed that I am innocent of any wrongdoing. I am sincerely grateful to Officers Renald Galstian, Lorenzo Sanchez, and Joanna Hatziefstratiou for their professionalism and for taking the time to carefully evaluate the situation and establish the truth. While I appreciate that the mistake has been acknowledged, the impact of the false accusation has been significant. I have experienced harassment, judgment, and damage to my personal and professional relationships based on something that has now been proven false.”
Vitaly made headlines on January 21, 2026, when he spoke out for the first time after serving 290 days in a Filipino prison.
