LaMelo Ball played a big role in securing the crucial win for the Hornets. He scored 30 points, recorded five rebounds and dished out 10 assists. It was a big win for the Hornets as they are just one win away from securing a spot in the playoffs. Charlotte have not been in a playoff game since the 2015-16 season.
Ana Montana and LaMelo Ball have been together since 2023. However, rumors about them being together first started circulating in 2021.
LaMelo Ball apologizes to Bam Adebayo following controversial overtime win
LaMelo Ball apologized to Bam Adebayo in the postgame conference following the Hornets’ overtime win. The Hornets star guard tripped Heat’s star center, Bam Adebayo, during a play in the second quarter.
The fall resulted in a back injury for the Heat star. Adebayo was forced to leave the court mid-game.
“I apologize on that one. I got hit in the head, didn’t really know where I was, but I’mma check on him and see if he’s okay and everything,” Ball said.
Later, a reporter asked Ball about his intentions at the time, since film appeared to show him grabbing Adebayo’s leg.
“I haven’t even seen,” he said. “Like I said, I got hit in the head, didn’t even know where I was.”
He was initially listed as questionable with a lower back injury after his hard fall, but it was downgraded to out later. Miami fought back without its superstar, but Charlotte sealed the game in the final moments.
Heat guard Tyler Herro shared an alarming update on Adebayo’s injury in a postgame interview.
“I’ve played with Bam for a long time now and I usually never really see him limp like that,” Herro said. “He’s usually a guy that stays in, so that tells you how much pain he’s in. He can still barely walk back there. I saw the video; he fell really hard. I hope he gets right.”
The Hornets will play the loser of the 76ers vs. the Magic game in their second play-in match on Friday.
