A male pedestrian has died after a driver struck him in downtown Brantford, Ont., police say.
The collision happened around midnight near Market and Darling streets, Brantford Police Service said in a news release the morning of April 17.
“The pedestrian was transported to hospital and succumbed to his injuries,” police said.
The driver stayed on scene and “is co-operating with police.”
The intersection is near the bus terminal, city hall, Victoria Park and the Wilfrid Laurier University Brantford campus. Police ask anyone with information or video footage to get in touch.
