All Niagara-bound lanes on the Burlington Skyway Bridge will be closed Thursday night, the Ministry of Transportation says.
After rehabilitation work was postponed last week due to weather, closures are now scheduled for Thursday and Friday.
Two lanes will be closed starting at 9 p.m. on Thursday from north of the bridge. All lanes will be closed starting at 10 p.m. on Thursday until 6 a.m. on Friday.
Drivers can take an alternate route through the QEW Niagara‑bound collectors to Eastport Drive.
Ramps from Eastport Drive and collector lanes to the bridge will be closed overnight on Thursday as well.
The work is weather-dependent, according to the Burlington Skyway website. If weather delays the work again, the bridge will be closed starting at 10 p.m. on Friday, down to two lanes, and fully closed from 11 p.m. until 7 a.m..
