5 WWE Superstars who need a brand change after WrestleMania 42
Once the buzz around WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas settles down after this weekend, the WWE roster will likely be in for a major shake-up. The period after ‘Mania has always been seen as a fresh start by the sports entertainment juggernaut. The roster is filled with more talent than ever, but several stars have hit their peak on their current brand and seem ready for new opportunities.
Whether it’s a desperate need for fresh matchups, a creative reboot, or even a long-awaited reunion, here are five WWE Superstars who absolutely need a brand change after The Show of Shows.
Thanks for the submission!
#5. Tiffany Stratton – to RAW
Tiffany Stratton has achieved remarkable success on Friday Night SmackDown since her arrival on the main roster in 2024. She won the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match that same year and cashed in on Nia Jax the following year to win the WWE Women’s Championship. She even defeated Charlotte Flair to retain the title at WrestleMania 41.
However, it looks like the Buff Barbie’s run since her return at the Royal Rumble in January 2026 hasn’t lived up to fans’ expectations so far. Given this, she might need a brand switch to regain her momentum.
Moving to WWE RAW would pit Tiffany Stratton against top superstars like Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan. This transition could create exciting new rivalries and storylines, giving Tiffany the chance to compete against some of the best and biggest names in the women’s division. It would also help re-establish her as a serious contender and a prominent force on the main roster.
#4. Solo Sikoa – to RAW
Solo Sikoa and his MFTs have turned WWE SmackDown into a battleground over the past two years. However, his recent run has pretty much been uneventful. Although he is naturally a dominant powerhouse, his current booking has made him appear weak.
Moving to WWE RAW could allow Sikoa to shed his association with MFT and focus on building a strong solo career, showcasing his true potential as a main-event player. He could kick off an intriguing feud with other powerhouses like Gunther and Seth Rollins. He could even decide to pursue the Intercontinental Championship.
The strategy worked for Jacob Fatu on Friday Night SmackDown, and could also benefit Solo Sikoa. As a future main eventer in WWE, it’s time the company begins to treat Sikoa as a top-tier star and gives him the opportunities he deserves to reach that level.
#3. Ivy Nile – to SmackDown
Ivy Nile has been a formidable force as a member of American Made on Monday Night RAW. The women’s division on the red brand is dominated by established legends, and SmackDown’s midcard division could do with a talent like Nile.
Moving to the blue brand would give Ivy the chance to step away from the Creed Brothers and build herself as a strong singles competitor. Her legitimate MMA background and her Pitbull of NXT intensity seemingly make her the perfect opponent for stars like Giulia or any new talent debuting from the Performance Center.
#2. Rey Fenix – to RAW
The WWE Universe was thrilled when the Lucha Brothers finally signed with the Stamford-based promotion. Rey Fenix has been impressing fans on SmackDown with his high-flying style and Animo. Meanwhile, his brother Penta, the current Intercontinental Champion, has been a standout on RAW.
Now seems like the ideal moment to bring the family back together. The red brand’s tag team division could do with an energy boost, and there is seemingly no duo more electrifying than the Lucha Brothers.
Moving Fenix to WWE RAW may not only strengthen the tag team division but also set the stage for a Lucha House atmosphere on the Monday night show. This would allow the brothers to showcase their skills on the three-hour show and deliver dream matches for the fans.
#1. Rusev – to WWE SmackDown
The Bulgarian Brute’s return to WWE in 2025 was one of the most talked-about moments in recent memory. Since his comeback, Rusev has been a force on Monday Night RAW. However, his recent run on the red brand hasn’t lived up to the hype so far.
If The Bulgarian Brute doesn’t win the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 42, he might need to move to WWE SmackDown for a fresh start. There, he could enter into a compelling program with powerhouses like Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu.
That’s not all. Rusev may also choose to pursue the blue brand’s big one. He has the talent to deliver exciting matches in the main event of a WWE Premium Live Event. Many believe it’s time for the creative team to end his “stop-start” booking and allow The Bulgarian Brute to dominate the show.
