The Blade Hunter: Wilderness is a limited-time event introduced in the second half of the Wuthering Waves 3.1 update. It is a combat-based game mode, where you will need to deploy your characters to complete certain challenges by defeating waves of enemies. The Blade Hunter: Wilderness event will reward you with in-game resources such as Astrites in Wuthering Waves.

How to complete the Blade Hunter: Wilderness event in Wuthering Waves?

The Blade Hunter: Wilderness event in Wuthering Waves is a combat game mode. You will have to complete various stages, utilizing different characters, so that you can activate certain buffs to help you. These buffs can range from stat boosts to summons that will allow you to effectively clear each stage.

You will need to collect a certain amount of coins to complete each task and also to unlock the next stage. The number of coins that will be dropped will depend on how many waves you clear, and also on the difficulty you select. The higher the difficulty is, the more coins you can earn.

Now let’s take a look at the available stages and how you can clear them:

Stage 1 Lahai Roi: Become Beast

Buffs:

  • “Lv. 0: Energy Regen is increased by 50%. Cannot be downed during the challenge.
  • Lv. 1: When dealing Resonance Liberation DMG or dealing damage with Resonance Liberation, fire Riot Blades toward nearby enemies, dealing Havoc DMG. CD: 4s.
  • Lv. 2: Resonance Liberation Cooldown is reduced by 50%. Riot Blades last longer and can orbit for a short distance, its Cooldown is reduced by 2s.
  • Lv. 3: Resonance Liberation DMG is Amplified by 200%. For every enemy hit by Riot Blades, restore 5 Resonance Energy.”

Recommended Teams

  • Lynae, Mornye, Aemeath
  • Cartethyia, Chisa, Ciaccona
  • Augusta, Shorekeeper, Iuno

The buffs here benefit characters who can deal Resonance Liberation damage. Aemeath’s premium team is a good option for clearing this stage. You can also use teams for Cartethyia or Augusta in Wuthering Waves for this challenge in the Blade Hunter: Wilderness event.

Buffs:

  • “Lv. 0: When in Mid-air, Crit. DMG is increased by 100%. The effect is removed 2s after landing. Cannot be downed during the challenge.
  • Lv. 1: When in Mid-air, every 4 hits generate a Data Core, dealing Electro DMG.
  • Lv. 2: Data Core generation is reduced to 2 hits. Each generation splits into 3 cores, increasing damage radius and causing enemies to take 60% Amplified damage.
  • Lv. 3: Data Core triggers Mind Shock, dealing additional damage.”

  • Camellya, Sanhua, Shorekeeper

Characters that can remain in mid-air will work the best for this stage. Luuk Herssen is a great pick, alongside characters like Iuno, Camellya, and Mornye, all of who has mid-air combat embedded in their kit.
