One Adventurous Hatchling is a WoW Midnight sidequest chain that ultimately rewards you with the adorable Hawkstrider Hatchling pet. However, some players haven’t been able to figure out how to get this one started. After some time exploring the new content, we’ve figured out where it spawns, and what you have to do to wrap up this quest chain. It’s also required for Sojourner of Eversong Woods achievement, but this is still very much optional.

In addition to simply being a fun, cute little series of quests, the One Adventurous Hatchling quests in WoW Midnight gives you the Hawkstrider Hatchling pet, and rep for the Silvermoon Court. You’ll secure a total of 400 Silvermoon Court rep, and that’s a decent chunk.

How to complete One Adventurous Hatchling in WoW Midnight and get Hawkstrider Hatchling

One Adventurous Hatchling spawns in WoW Midnight’s Eversong Woods zone after you complete Eversong in Reprise. Eversong in Reprise is the achievement you receive for completing the main scenario quests in Eversong Woods, so it’s something you’ll eventually, naturally unlock. It depends on what order you approach the new storyline in World of Warcraft.

You just need to be level 80 to pick up the appropriate quests to get the Hawkstrider Hatchling. Just head over to (56.8 35.6), and speak with Vaelith Sunplume, and pick up all three quests they have available:

• A Hungry Flock
• One Adventurous Hatchling
• A Roost-ed Development

These are all incredibly short, simple quests. For A Hungry Flock, you need to farm the lake to your west, and slay the Gloombelly Toads until you get 6 Frog Legs. These aren’t hard to beat, and if you’re leveling Skinning, you can do that here too. For One Adventurous Hatchling, just run down the path to the quest marker, and you’ll see a Hatchling on a table. Interact with it, and it’ll go home. Quest complete!

The final part of the One Adventurous Hatchling’s base quests is A Roost-ed Development, and that tasks you with farming Golden Sunleaf in the same area you fought the toads. The plants you need will glow, again, making it very easy to see which ones you need to pluck.

Return to Vaelith Sunplume and complete these quests to get First Step into Parenthood, which rewards you with Hawkstrider Egg, 250 Silvermoon Court rep, and the One Adventurous Hatchling progress for the Sojourner achievement. All you need to do now is wait 24 hours, and interact with the Hawkstrider Egg in WoW to get the Hawkstrider Hatchling pet.
