Watch: Iranians Do the ‘Trump Dance’ to Thank President for Taking out Ayatollah Khamenei

Iranians around the world are sharing videos of themselves doing President Donald Trump’s famous dance to thank him for taking out Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

“I feel the way I felt when the Berlin Wall went down,” one social media user reacted.

Video footage of Iranians busting out the president’s signature “Trump dance” has been going viral on social media following Saturday’s fatal airstrikes against high-ranking officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Notably, the celebratory dance features the Village People’s 1978 hit, “YMCA,” with Iranians imitating Trump’s sharp, rhythmic arm pumps that have become a well-known staple at the president’s rallies.

“I am an Iranian and this is the best day of my life,” an Iranian-born PhD candidate wrote in an X post, sharing video of herself dancing to the song in a living room while cheering.

“The dictator, the killer, Ali Khamenei is dead,” she added in her post, which has garnered more than 30 million views at the time of this writing on Tuesday morning.

Additional footage shows crowds of people doing the Trump dance in public squares while chanting “USA!” and waving the pre-1979 Lion and Sun flag — Iran’s national emblem before the Islamic Revolution.

“More patriotic than American liberals,” one X user commented.

“This is what winning looks like,” another wrote.

“YMCA about to be the world’s national anthem :)” a third suggested.

Other clips show celebrators doing the Trump dance at similar rallies while “YMCA” plays.

“I feel the way I felt when the Berlin Wall went down,” another X user reacted.

Another called the footage a “wild viral moment of gratitude,” adding, “History’s got style tonight.”

One X user said the “sheer joy is wonderful to behold.”

“Liberals are definitely scratching their heads on this one,” another laughed.

“Funny that I just watched @CNN for an hour last night and didn’t see any of this,” another remarked.

“President Trump is a man of his word. He doesn’t play games!” another X user exclaimed, adding, “IRANIAN PEOPLE – Rise up and take it back, freedom is so close.”

While Iranians celebrate the demise of Ayatollah Khamenei, critics are ripping into the New York Times for its death notice of the tyrant  giving him a headline seemingly more suitable for a statesman than a dictator and terrorist.
