Tonight’s headliner pits BMF champion Max Holloway against Charles Oliveira in a clash of two of the UFC’s truly beloved fire-fighters.

When Oliveira and Holloway first met in 2015, the latter was early in his UFC career, while Oliveira had already been in the promotion for five years – yet the best was ahead for both. Holloway went on to reign as featherweight champion from 2017 until 2019, before Oliveira won the lightweight title in 2021.

And while neither currently holds a world title, they remain fan favourites due to their all-action styles – a style that saw “Blessed” claim the “Baddest Motherf*****” belt in 2024. Holloway, 34, defends that title against Oliveira, 36, here, with fans hoping for a more-definitive outcome than in their first bout. That night, Oliveira suffered a neck or throat injury; his team still aren’t sure, even to this day.
