Thomas Tuchel to sign new contract with England until 2028
Thomas Tuchel is reportedly set to put pen to paper on a contract extension with England, taking him beyond the World Cup and through to Euro 2028.
According to The Times, news of Tuchel’s renewal could be officially announced before today’s draw for the 2026/27 Nations League.
The report claims Tuchel is ‘excited by the prospect’ of steering England into this summer’s World Cup and into a home European Championships in two-and-a-half years’ time.
The extension is expected to run through to the end of the 2028 tournament, which will be co-hosted by Scotland, Wales and Ireland, with Wembley set to stage both semi-finals and the final.
