Kate Middleton’s former PA and stylist Natasha Archer reveals new business venture after 15 years of service to Palace

The Princess of Wales’s personal assistant and stylist has launched a new business venture following 15 years of dedicated service to the Princess.

Natasha Archer, 37, left her role in the summer of last year, with reports claiming at the time that she was to set up her own consultancy company.

Kate’s former right-hand woman has today confirmed the news on social media, revealing that she has opened up her services via her eponymous company.

It is understood that the Prince and Princess of Wales have wished Natasha the very best for her new chapter.

The stylist, alongside a black-and-white profile shot of herself, said via Instagram: ‘I’m Natasha – Founder & Creative Director.

‘After almost two decades working within private households, I’m delighted to begin this new chapter, offering discreet, bespoke advisory services for those seeking considered guidance across wardrobe, personal presentation, creative direction, and the finer details that shape important moments.’

Natasha joined the Royal Family in 2010 after being appointed as a personal assistant to both Prince William and Prince Harry.

After William’s wedding to Kate, Natasha also began reporting to the then-Duchess of Cambridge before becoming the future queen’s most trusted aide.

The Princess of Wales’s former personal assistant and stylist, Natasha Archer, has launched a new business venture (pictured: Natasha as she arrived at Tezpur Airport in 2016 in Assam, India as then then-Duke and Duchess of Cambridge carried out a week-long tour of India)

Over the years, she became an integral part of the private household, with Kate seemingly rewarding her loyalty with a promotion in June 2024.

The Daily Mail exclusively revealed that Natasha stepped into the role of senior private executive assistant to William and Kate, following reports she personally collected The Princess of Wales from the London Clinic after her abdominal operation earlier this year.

After that, the mother-of-two was brought into the innermost circle of trusted friends and family members supporting Kate through her cancer journey. The Princess announced she is in remission from an undisclosed form of cancer in January 2025.

Mother-of-two Natasha, who was previously married to royal photographer Chris Jackson, has been by Kate’s side for some of her biggest life events of the past decade, from royal births and her cancer treatment to overseas tours.

Despite her high-profile job, the stylist has managed to stay mostly out of the spotlight – but still appeared to be unwavering in her support of the Princess.

Natasha has been such a trusted member of staff that she was one of a select few number of people who visited the Princess of Wales after she gave birth to her three children at the Lindo Wing in London.

In July 2013, the stylist was seen entering the hospital to give Kate the blue polka dot Jenny Packham dress they had chosen for the public appearance after the birth of Prince George, now 12.

A source told The Telegraph: ‘She was seen arriving at the Lindo Wing following the birth of Prince George with a hanger bag, presumably containing the blue and white polka dot Jenny Packham dress which Kate then wore to give the world its first glimpse of the future King a few hours later.’

What’s more, the two women both welcomed sons in 2018 – with Kate giving birth to Prince Louis in May and Natasha announcing the arrival of Theo in December.

In 2014, she was promoted to the position of Kate’s personal stylist and was said to be the mastermind behind the Duchess’s wardrobe for the Cambridges’ successful tour of Australia.

According to Grazia, Natasha was brought in to make Kate’s wardrobe look more ‘regal’ as per the late Queen’s request.

A source told the fashion magazine: ‘Natasha’s main role is as a PA, but over the last few months she has assisted Kate as a style adviser.

‘Natasha and Kate get on very well. She has always supported and advised Kate – and the Duchess loves Natasha’s style, so it seemed like an obvious appointment. Natasha has been helping Kate pick outfits for the [New Zealand and Australia] tour.’

At the time, it was reported that Natasha often shopped online for Kate’s wardrobe – particularly from ASOS and Topshop.

Following the success of the Australia tour, it has been reported that Natasha started encouraging Kate to experiment more with her wardrobe.

In 2016, Natasha also joined Kate on her tour of Canada – and was responsible for some of her most glamorous looks from the trip, including a bright red Preen cocktail gown.

In 2019, the mother-of-three was highly praised for her style during her historic royal tour to Pakistan along with her husband Prince William, but her ‘secret weapon’ stylist Natasha Archer had a large part to play.

It was Natasha who introduced Kate to much-loved Pakistani designer Maheen Khan after finding her designs at O’Nitaa, in London’s Chelsea Green, and getting in touch with her to create some custom-made pieces for the royal.

In 2017, Natasha married Chris Jackson – who is the royal photographer for Getty. They split in September last year after six years of marriage.

As part of his role, Natasha’s former husband regularly accompanies the King and Queen and the Prince and Princess of Wales on official royal engagements.

As well as curating Kate’s wardrobe and helping with her diary, it was reported that Archer, a Jenny Packham devotee, was ordered to spruce up Prince William’s ‘estate agent’ style.

For the tour of Canada, the then 29-year-old stylist – known to friends as Tash – added linen jackets, and sweaters from J Crew, Jaeger and Reiss, her favourite high street label.

Natasha reportedly assured the Prince, then 34, that she was merely helping him to ‘edit’ and ‘freshen’ his wardrobe.

In 2018, Natasha was invited to become a member of the Royal Victorian Order in recognition of her services to the Royal Family.

Prince William told Princess Anne: ‘I’ve had enough of hearing his name’ during ‘tense’ conversations between the royals at Commonwealth Day service, according to a lip reader

Prince William told Princess Anne: ‘I’ve had enough of hearing his name,’ according to a lip reader who has revealed the ‘tense’ conversations shared between the Royal Family at the Commonwealth Day service.

King Charles, the Queen and the Prince and Princess of Wales yesterday led the largest gathering of senior royals since the arrest of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, marking the annual occasion at Westminster Abbey.

During one ‘telling’ moment, William made his feelings known to his aunt, the Princess Royal, apparently saying to her: ‘I’ve had enough of hearing his name, to be honest,’ claimed Nicola Hickling.

The forensic lip reading expert and analyst at LipReader said it was unclear what Anne said to prompt this reaction as her back was to the camera. However, during the ‘brief and subdued’ conversation, William also said: ‘It’s up for debate.’

Nicola was unable to confirm who exactly the Prince was referring to with his comments but it could have been related to the ongoing fallout surrounding the disgraced former Duke of York, who was arrested two weeks ago on suspicion of misconduct in public office.

Meanwhile, King Charles appeared to share a ‘tense’ moment with his son upon his arrival, saying ‘oh finally’ whilst wearing an irritated expression, the lip reader claimed.

William responded with a quick greeting, kissing his father on both cheeks, but did not appear to say anything in return.

The King then told his sister Princess Anne: ‘It’s not good out there… it’s rather tense, isn’t it? It’s not good.’ It’s likely Charles was referring to the small but vocal group of anti-monarchist protestors outside the Abbey.

His Majesty then continued to greet the rest of his family, including the Princess of Wales, and ‘seemed to say something further to Kate and William, prompting the Prince to step slightly forward and respond: ”We’re not happy”’, Nicola told the Daily Mail.

Elsewhere, like her brother, Princess Anne also apparently referred to the protestors upon her arrival at the London occasion. According to the lip reader, she told her husband Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence ‘don’t listen to them, ignore them’.

The faintest occasional cry of ‘what did you know’ in reference to Andrew could be heard from a small group of flag-waving anti-monarchist protesters from the Republic pressure group, but they were competing with the sound of the abbey bells and a group of Commonwealth musicians.

‘Oh listen to that, do you know what it is they’re playing?,’ asked the Princess Royal as she walked past the band, no doubt in an effort to distract from the protesters’ shouts.

Earlier large crowds had gathered to catch a glimpse of the royal party, who joined an 1,800-strong congregation celebrating the historic ‘family of nations’ formed in the breakdown of the British empire but now comprising 56 independent member countries, united by ‘shared values including a commitment to promoting democracy, human rights, the rule of law and equality for its 2.7 billion citizens’.

The royal party arrived to a fanfare inside the Abbey with the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester arriving first, followed by the Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence and then the Prince and Princess of Wales.

All were greeted by the Dean of Westminster and presented to the Chapter and members of the Royal Commonwealth Society.

They included Commonwealth Secretary General, The Hon Shirley Botchwey, and Chair of the Royal Commonwealth Society, Janet Cooper.

The King and Queen were the last to arrive, shaking the hands of those in the line-up before greeting the rest of the family with warm kisses. Charles opened up his arms to welcome his eldest son and heir.

The ladies slightly giggled amongst themselves about the size of their hats, with Princess Anne smiling and indicating to Catherine that she wouldn’t even attempt a kiss. Others just offered a peck on one cheek, instead of the traditional two for fear of knocking their sizeable headwear.

Led by the King, the family then formed into a processional group ahead of the National Anthem.

The party walked to their seats behind the Commonwealth Mace Bearer during the first hymn ‘Praise To The Lord, The Almighty, The King Of Creation’.

In his annual Commonwealth Day message – which this year emphasises the theme of ‘collaboration’ – King Charles acknowledged deeply challenging times globally, but insisted it was also an opportunity for the Commonwealth to demonstrate its ‘enduring spirit’.

In his address, which was printed in the order of service, he said: ‘We join together on this Commonwealth Day at a time of great challenge and great possibility.

‘Across our world, communities and nations face the increasing pressures of conflict, climate change and rapid transformation. Yet it is often in such testing moments that the enduring spirit of the Commonwealth is most clearly revealed.

‘Ours is a remarkable association that spans every ocean and continent. Embracing an extraordinary diversity of culture, language and faith, our Commonwealth family is united by shared values of justice, democracy, opportunity, compassion and mutual respect.

‘In a world that can feel increasingly fragmented, this voluntary union of free association remains rare and precious – a forum for open and honest discussion and debate to help improve the lives of the nearly three billion people who call our Member States home.’

He stressed that the organisation holds ‘untapped potential for prosperous trade between trusting partners’ – which some might consider a backhanded nod towards US President Donald Trump and his controversial trade tariffs.

He added: ‘With nearly two-thirds of our population under the age of thirty, we are a family defined by youth and possibility. It is our shared responsibility to ensure that they inherit not only hope and ambition, but also a world in which they can flourish.’

The King also used his message to highlight an environmental message, saying the inheritance of the Commonwealth ‘depends upon the health of our planet and on the restoration of the natural world on which we depend’.

He continued: ‘Across so many parts of our Commonwealth climate change is not an abstract or distant threat, but a lived reality. The stewardship of nature, the protection of oceans and forests, and the pursuit of prosperity secured in harmony with the natural world are duties we owe not only to one another, but to generations yet unborn.’

Highlighting this autumn’s biannual Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Antigua and Barbuda, the King stressed that the organisation was very much the sum of its parts, saying: ‘We are reminded that the great gatherings of our nations are strengthened by the daily endeavours of their people. What distinguishes the Commonwealth is not only what our governments resolve together, but what our people do each day in countless acts of service, enterprise and creativity.

‘When leaders meet, they do so on behalf of millions whose quiet determination, resilience and generosity give true meaning to our shared endeavour.

‘Working together, we can ensure that the Commonwealth continues to stand as a force for good – grounded in community, committed to the kind of restorative sustainability that has a return on investment, enriched by culture, steadfast in its care for our planet, and united in friendship and in the service of its people.’

A peek inside Prince Harry’s ‘man cave’: Duke of Sussex offers a glimpse into his private study – complete with military badges, a model helicopter and ornate candles

Many fathers in their 40s take to setting up a sanctuary, or ‘man cave’, in the house – and it seems that royalty is no different, as yesterday Prince Harry offered an insight into his personal office nook.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Meghan Markle shared a clip of herself gifting her husband one of her As Ever chocolate bars before Valentine’s Day – and offered fans a glimpse of his custom set-up.

A beaming Prince Harry sat at a desk with a laptop balanced on a stack of books, while behind him sat a framed image of two pandas, a model helicopter and a partially-concealed poster where just the word ‘Papa’ was visible.

There was also huge, ornate candles, various pieces of artwork and a diffuser – while military badges, framed and protected in glass, featured prominently.

And at Harry’s feet was a very helpful office worker – the couple’s beagle, Mia, who was lounging around on a dog bed.

Read on to explore the selection of customised decorations and trinkets on show in the Duke’s personal hub…

Amid the helicopter and badges, eagle-eyed onlookers may have spotted an image of two pandas surrounded by a dark oval frame on Harry’s white cabinet.

While it is perhaps hard to decipher the specific meaning behind the panda painting, it may hold links to Harry’s appearance on the popular US talk show Jimmy Fallon in September 2024.

The episode of the Tonight Show saw the prince walk through a ‘haunted maze’ with the host as part of his Halloween experience.

At one stage, the prince screamed and swore when he mistook a woman with white makeup and black rings around her eyes for a panda.

The woman, equipped with a knife, said ‘hello’ to the Duke before revealing he was actually staring at a reflection of her as she ran around the corner attempting to thrust the knife towards him.

In response, Prince Harry let out a mighty scream and swore, before Fallon chimed in and mocked him, saying: ‘You’re afraid of pandas,’ to which the Duke replied, ‘No! I’m not, I’m not.’

Perhaps the panda portrait was a humorous gift from Fallon to remind his royal guest of that terrifying moment or, rather, Meghan’s lighthearted way of poking fun at her skittish husband.

2. Model helicopter

It’s no secret that the prince is a firm fan of flying, with Harry first awarded his helicopter wings in 2010 before later going on to serve in the Army as an Apache helicopter pilot.

During his 2012 tour of Afghanistan, Harry helped provide helicopter support to the International Security Assistance Force and Afghan forces operating throughout Helmand province.

It therefore seems fitting that his man cave also features a mini helicopter replica.

The Prince previously described how his military career ‘saved him’ after the death of Princess Diana, by helping him ‘turn his pain into purpose’.

During an interview with US host Anderson Cooper in early 2024, Harry said he was a ‘really good candidate for the military’ because he was a ‘young man in his 20s’ who was ‘suffering from shock’.

He continued: ‘But then I was in the front seat of an Apache shooting it, flying it, monitoring four radios simultaneously, and being there to save and help anybody that was on the ground with a radio screaming, “We need support, we need air support.” That was my calling. I felt healing from that weirdly.’

3. Ergonomic office chair and footstool

The prince sat on an office chair

A second chair also featured

The sophisticated chair, which also features arm rests on both sides, will likely have been a deliberate choice by the prince to help mitigate any chance of back pain, particularly given his previous history of injury.

As Harry joyfully received his chocolate gift from Meghan, the prince appeared to be sat in a grey ergonomic office chair fit with a footstool for extra comfort.

The sophisticated chair, which also features arm rests on both sides, will likely have been a deliberate choice by the prince to help mitigate any chance of back pain, particularly given his previous history of injury.

In May 2015, Harry suffered from a back injury after he fell from his horse during a polo game which required urgent treatment on the pitch.

While Harry was determined to continue playing, he was later seen holding his lower back in agony and stretching in a bid to ease the pain following the injury.

The prince, who is an avid fan of polo, has also been pictured falling of a horse on numerous other occasions, leaving many royal fans worried that he may suffer long-term damage to his back.

Like many proud fathers, Prince Harry’s love for his children was also made clear in his décor choices- with a heartwarming print with the word ‘PAPA’ on the front spotted on the partially concealed display in the background.

It’s possible the father-of-two may have been gifted the sweet print by his wife, on behalf of their children Prince Archie, six, or Princess Lilibet, four – and clearly highlights their close bond as a family.

Before the birth of his first child in May 2019, Harry had long spoken publicly about his desire to be a father and how becoming a ‘fun’ uncle to his brother, Prince William’s children had made him yearn for a family of his own.

When Harry was asked what he loves most about fatherhood during an interview in 2022, his heartwarming response was clear.

‘All of it’, he told NBC’s Hoda Kotb.

Beaming, the Duke added: ‘I love it. I love every part of it. I’ve always wanted to be a dad,’ he said. ‘I’ve always wanted to have my own kids and now I have got two little people who I’m responsible for.’

5. Miscellaneous artwork

Various artworks could be seen in the background

A painting with a blue background was also seen

Its no secret that the prince is an avid fan of artwork, having famously gifted Meghan with a romantic painting titled Everybody Needs Somebody To Love by British artist Van Donna in 2016

Against the more personalised pieces, a number of miscellaneous displays of artwork can also be seen on proud display in Harry’s ‘man cave’ – including a blue image with a golden frame and a red floral card.

It’s no secret that the prince is an avid fan of artwork, having famously gifted Meghan with a romantic painting titled Everybody Needs Somebody To Love by British artist Van Donna in 2016.

The extravagant piece, estimated to cost in the thousands, is made up of a black stencil image of a boy and a girl and was purchased by the prince at London’s Walton Fine Arts Gallery.

According to reports by People, the prince had told a local collector that he was looking for a gift for an ‘important person’.

6. Harry’s military badges

The badges were a special gift to the prince from members of Team Ukraine during the Invictus Games in Vancouver in February 2025.

The multitude of badges on display include the Marine Corps, Air Assault Forces, the third Assault Brigade, the Ukrainian Volunteer Corps, the National Police Assault Brigade, alongside several others.

A Ukrainian National Guard ‘Rubizh’ Brigade badge was also visible in the background of Meghan’s video which holds particular poignance for the prince.

During the February 2025 Invictus Games, the prince wore the patch of the Ukrainian National Guard’s 4th ‘Rubizh’ Brigade on his jacket – a clear signal of his solidarity with the country.

The prince has previously been incredibly vocal about his support for the war-torn nation and in September declared that he would do ‘everything possible’ to help Ukrainian soldiers and injured service personnel during a surprise trip to Kyiv.

While the prince may have been hard at work in his man cave, he was certainly not alone – his beloved rescue beagle Mamma Mia was curled up underneath his desk.

Harry and Meghan rescued 10-year-old Mia from an animal testing centre in Virginia in 2022, with the adorable pooch an integral member of the Sussexes family – even appearing as part of their 2024 festive greetings card.

And in a rather cute twist, Mia was spotted in the video fast asleep in the same wooden dog bed which belonged to Harry and Meghan’s former beagle, Guy, who sadly died in early 2025.

Meghan adopted Guy when she was living in Toronto and working as an actress. She brought him to the UK when she married Harry in 2018.

The sweet pup was spotted chewing on a dog biscuit in the rustic bed which now lives in Harry’s man cave during a trailer for the Duchess’s Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, in January 2025.

10. His wife’s chocolate

The centrepiece of the clip, of course, was Meghan’s As Ever chocolate.

The Duke of Sussex had a grin ear-to-ear as his wife sauntered over with a box of the treats, which she first released last year.

In the video, Meghan approached Harry and handed over the chocolate – to which the Prince said ‘Oh’ before turning his response into an ‘Oooh’ and picking out a bar.

A beaming Harry looked at the camera – holding up the bar – and said ‘yes please’ before proceeding to hand back the box.

He then said ‘love you’, with a cheeky smile still on his face.

The bars of chocolate – which sold out within minutes following their initial release – use Meghan’s ‘signature ingredients’ from her As Ever brand such as raspberry spread and flower sprinkles, to ‘spark a little sweet nostalgia’.

Festive flavours on offer include dark chocolate with raspberry spread and sea salt, white chocolate topped with flower sprinkles and hemp hearts and milk chocolate with shortbread cookies and bee pollen.

For the project, Meghan linked up with renowned chocolatier Jonathan Grahm of Compartés to create ‘the most coveted set of the season’ – marketing at $12 a pop.

11. Candles

As Meghan panned away from her husband, she showed more décor on Harry’s desk – which included two huge candles, in equally sizeable candle-holders which appear to be made of wood.

One was darker in tone while a second, made of bleached wood, was also shown in the video.

His wife Meghan also sells candles in her As Ever range – so it’s no surprise they’re a welcome addition around the house.
