The alleged former ‘mistress’ of Gordon Ramsay has hit out at his Netflix documentary, branding it ‘fake and misleading.’

Being Gordon Ramsay follows the celebrity chef, 59, as he embarks upon his most ambitious project yet.

In the six-part docuseries, he attempts to balance family and professional life with the opening of an enormous new restaurant concept at 22 Bishopsgate – one of London’s tallest and most high-profile buildings.

At the same time, it demonstrates a softer-side to the fiery-tempered Hell’s Kitchen and MasterChef USA host.

Between navigating the setup of 22 Bishopsgate, the series sheds a light on Ramsay as husband to wife Tana, and father of their six children – Megan, 27, Holly and Jack, 26, Tilly, 24, Oscar, six, and Jesse, two.

One person who has taken umbrage with the series is Sarah Symonds, who claimed to have had a seven-year affair with the chef from 2001 to 2008.

Speaking to Daily Mail, 56-year-old Symonds described the series as ‘totally fake – just like him.’

She continued: ‘It was a glossed over, rehabilitated, glow-up version of a bully, cheat, liar and serial philanderer.’

Rejecting the show’s depiction of Ramsay as a devoted husband and family man, she added: ‘Gordon always acted like a single man, a man about town.

‘He was always available and always at the same social venues late at night as me.

‘He had the swagger and confidence of a man with no responsibilities, and the persona of a man who certainly wasn’t rushing home.’

Ramsay’s marriage was rocked in 2008, when Symonds came forward with allegations of a seven-year strong affair.

She said that she had been 31 and working in sales for an events and limo company in London when she first met Ramsay at London’s Chinawhite Nightclub.

She claimed that he had ‘no regard’ toward Tana, 51, implying that his marriage and family life were useful for his image.

‘He said that it just looked good if he was married, but that he was his own man,’ Symonds said.

After her allegations were first published in News of the World, Ramsay vehemently denied all claims – even telling the audience at the BBC Good Food Show in Birmingham: ‘If I was going to cheat it wouldn’t be with a complete slapper.’

That same year, Gordon and Tana went on to renew their vows in a show of public solidarity – while Symonds published her self-help book, Having An Affair?: A Handbook for the Other Woman.

Ramsay has continued to deny an affair with Symonds, and insists that he only ever met her four times.

The F Word star's 12-year marriage to wife Tana was rocked in November (08) by tabloid reports that he had a long-standing affair with "serial mistress" Sarah Symonds. Yet Ramsay firmly denied the rumours, claiming: "It never happened. It was completely made up. She set it up to make some money." Now the couple have decided to cement their vows in London this June (09) - and have even asked close pals David and Victoria Beckham to be witnesses at the ceremony. A source told British tabloid The People, "Gordon wants to show just how infatuated he still is with Tana. They have both had to endure some stormy days after he was accused of being unfaithful. "Gordon has maintained he has been the victim of untrue allegations. He is so delighted that Tana has stood by him. By renewing vows Gordon and Tana will show the world their relationship is as strong as ever." In the wake of the allegations, Gordon and Tana went on to welcome sons Oscar and Jesse.

The pair also suffered a miscarriage in 2016, losing baby boy Rocky only five months into Tana’s pregnancy.

Speaking at the time, Gordon told HELLO!: ‘We were devastated, but thankfully we’re through the worst now. It could happen at any time to anyone. It has brought us all so much closer.’

Earlier this month, the Kitchen Nightmares host reflected on his first meeting with Tana, describing how he ‘stole’ her from the friend she’d been dating at the time.

Gordon told OK! magazine: ‘Tana was driving the car and I was sat in the back seat looking at my mate going, “Oh my god, your girlfriend is f****** gorgeous.”

‘She looked like a young Julia Roberts and she brought this level of excitement like no other. I’m not sure what Tana said when she met me, I got the feeling she wasn’t a big fan.’

Earlier this month, Ramsay was forced to answer against allegations that he’d ‘behaved like a bully’ toward son-in-law Adam Peaty’s parents.

In the wake of daughter Holly’s marriage to Olympic swimmer Peaty, reports emerged of a feud between the two families, with Peaty reportedly describing him as a ‘big bully.’

In response, Ramsay told The Sun: ‘I’m certainly not a bully,’ describing their claims as ‘appalling.’

While the Ramsays’ marriage may seem stronger than ever, Symonds has indicated that she is considering taking legal action against the Next Level Chef star.

She claims that the stress of their alleged affair and his repeated denials caused her to develop post-traumatic stress disorder and addiction issues.

‘If I read once more that this documentary is ‘unflinchingly honest’, I think I’ll scream,’ she said.

‘I am trying to heal, and then this appears everywhere. It makes me so angry.’

Gordon Ramsay reveals he is paying back daughter Holly’s £65k wedding flower bill in instalments as his money is wrapped up in 22 Bishopsgate

Gordon Ramsay may be the richest chef in the world – but a £65,000 wedding flower bill might be a step too far.

The celebrity chef, 59, has revealed he is paying back the mammoth flower bill for his daughter Holly and Adam Peaty’s wedding in monthly instalments as all his money is wrapped up in his new restaurant venture at 22 Bishopsgate.

Gordon is currently promoting his new six-part Netflix documentary which follows his journey in opening five restaurants at London’s 22 Bishopsgate skyscraper.

But despite being worth £162m ($220m), Gordon admitted his daughter’s wedding – held at Bath Abbey on December 27 – left him in tears due to the expense of the flowers: ‘I’ll be honest, half the tears were the size of the flower bill.’

On Thursday when asked how he felt watching Holly get married, Gordon said: ‘Firstly I was crying my eyes out, because of the flower bill.’

Gordon went on to reveal during the appearance on Heart Breakfast with Jason King and Kelly Brook that he actually asked to pay off the flowers in monthly installments because of the cost of his project at 22 Bishopsgate.

‘Oh I know flowers are expensive,’ Kelly said, to which Gordon replied: ‘Only Holly would decorate the entire Bath cathedral with flowers. One of the most historic buildings. Anyone else on the planet, no.’

‘She took her moment, dad you’re paying for this,’ Jason said.

As the trio burst out laughing, Gordon said: ‘I swear to god, the aisle was 65 meters long.’

He added: ‘Every time I walked past a pew I was walking up and down going “7 grand”, “another 7 grand”, 65 grand of flowers!

‘I haven’t seen the bill yet because I’ve asked if I could do payments on a monthly basis, because I’m still paying for [22] Bishopsgate.’

‘So that’s 20 million and 65 thousand so far,’ Jason joked.

‘All jokes apart, it was an amazing day,’ Gordon added, before saying the speech was his favourite part of the event.

In another look at the day, Gordon noted they ate prawn cocktail for starter and beef wellington for main course.

Elsewhere Gordon said the past 12 months have been ‘the hardest of his family’s lives’ ahead of the release of his Netflix documentary.

The chef spoke to Fleur East, Will Best and James Barr on Hits Radio about how the new show has affected his family, his daughter Holly’s scandal-laden wedding and his eye-popping expediture on the big day.

Holly and her new husband Adam Peaty’s nuptials were marred with scandal after he disinvited his family from the big day amid bitter rows with his mother Caroline over her outfit for the wedding and subsequent legal woes for his brother.

Alluding to the dramas, Gordon, whose six month documentary follows his journey in opening new restaurants at London’s Bishopsgate, said: ‘This has been the most challenging 12 months of our entire lives.’

Swimmer Adam, 31, tied the knot with Gorodn’s daughter Holly, 25, in the idyllic ceremony in December where his sister Bethany was the only relative attending the nuptials.

As the feud rumbles on, while the Ramsays have maintained silence, they appear to have alluded to the beef and even failed to remove a fleeting clip of Caroline from the doc – despite her demands she be taken out of the show.

The programme follows Gordon’s preparation to open five culinary experiences in London’s 22 Bishopsgate, the city’s second tallest building.

His family, comprising wife Tana, 51, and six children – Megan, 27, twins Holly and Jack, 26, Tilly, 24, Oscar, six, and Jesse, two – are heavily featured.

He admits that he has not watched the documentary: ‘I’ll be honest, I haven’t seen it because I never want to be that sort of little delicate, dainty soul that wants to obsess on how he looks, how he comes across…

‘And so this has been the most challenging 12 months of our entire lives. Huge commitments in terms of Bishopsgate and attempting a project of that magnitude. I trust, and sometimes that’s my problem. I trust too easy, I think.’

Moving on to discussing the wedding, Gordon went on: ‘Yeah, it’s just that amazing moment when you see your little girl just become an incredible woman…

‘But I’ll be honest, half the tears were the size of the flower bill. Sixty-five metre walk down the aisle. I was walking past £2000, £4000, £6000. We donated all the flowers to the local hospice and churches after that.’

Tana Ramsay reveals what she said to Adam Peaty’s estranged mother about him and her ‘incredibly vulnerable daughter’ before their wedding after chef Gordon defended his family’s behaviour amid feud

Tana Ramsay has revealed the things she said to Adam Peaty’s estranged mother Caroline before he married her ‘vulnerable’ daughter Holly.

Olympian Adam, 31, tied the knot with Tana and Gordon Ramsay’s daughter Holly, 26, at Bath Abbey in December amid a bitter feud which saw his mother, 60, disinvited and sister Bethany the only relative in attendance.

And Tana, 51, told Grazia how she praised Adam to his mother before the big day.

She said: ‘I remember saying to Adam’s mum when I met her. “My God, you’ve got the most amazing son. I couldn’t think of anyone that is more perfect for Holly, who’s incredibly emotional, incredibly vulnerable in areas.”

‘She’s funny, brilliant and witty but she also needs keeping in line. Adam manages to do all those things. He’s been through a lot. She’s been through a lot.

‘I remember saying to his mum that, in my mind, he’s perfect for our daughter. I was incredibly happy to meet her and tell her that.’

Gordon, 59, himself has previously defended the family when it comes to the Peaty/Ramsay fall out, calling it all ‘self-inflicted from their side’.

He said: ‘We sent a chauffeur-driven car for them to come to the engagement party and treated them like royalty. So to get that barrage of press was very hurtful. Tana took it very seriously.’

On Monday, Adam’s estranged mother Caroline posted a message about ‘dark times’ after Gordon hit back at claims he was a bully.

And after being branded a ‘bully’ by the Peaty family for claiming the fall-out was ‘self inflicted’, Gordon went on to accuse them of speaking ‘absolute nonsense’ and launching a ‘barrage of negativity’.

Caroline went on to share a tranquil image of sunset with the words: ‘You’re living proof that you can go through the darkest times and still come out kind, radiant, real and full of love.’

Responding to the family’s claim last week, the chef, who walked his daughter down the aisle, told The Sun: ‘I am certainly not a bully, and it is so appalling to even suggest there was any bullying,’ he sighed.

‘That’s absolute nonsense. It was sad to see that barrage of negativity that was self-propelled by them.

‘But Adam is an incredible young lad and he and Holly are a wonderful, happy, young couple.’

One relative claimed the TV chef had now ‘pushed the family too far’.

They said: ‘How bl***y dare they. The sheer gall of them.

‘The Ramsays did not treat Caroline like royalty at all – they treated her as though she was nothing. They ignored her existence and not once did Mrs Ramsay return any of Caroline’s texts.’

They told The Sun: ‘The get together lunch they promised on the day of the engagement never materialised either.’

Last month the family reportedly told friends they have ‘given up hope’ of reconciling with their son after Gordon’s latest social media comment.

The chef referred to himself as ‘dad’ in a comment on Adam’s wedding video where the Olympian said he would ‘always choose’ his new wife Holly.

An insider said: ‘It’s been a really emotional time for them as a family. They’re coming to terms with what has happened and that Adam has picked his side.

‘It’s dashed any hope of reconciliation in the near future. They’re keeping their heads down and trying to move on quietly. It’s clear Adam’s made his choice.’

Ramsay had commented on how beautiful his daughter looked during his wedding speech, telling Adam: ‘Look at Tana and that’s what you have to look forward to.’

The publication went on to claim that he couldn’t resist a sly dig at Adam’s absent parents as he told his daughter Holly: ‘Shame you don’t have the same.’

It was later revealed that the swimmer’s estranged mother had been left ‘outraged’ and ‘hurt’ that Ramsay had referred to their feud in his speech.

Adam and Holly looked happier than ever as they pushed aside their family drama with Adam’s family to support Gordon’s new reality show which will be released on Wednesday

A family source told the Daily Mail she was left horrified by the moment in the speech and believed the celebrity chef had ‘pre planned’ the cruel swipe against her, calling it ‘cruel’ and ‘very hurtful’.

But Ramsay doubled down on his speech as he appeared on This Morning in January, insisting that what he had to say at the wedding reception was ‘perfect and warm’.

He said: ‘It’s tough, honestly. Being the dad with three daughters, you dream of that moment and that moment arrives and you’re just like a hot mess.

‘But, the speech was perfect, it went well and you’ve got to find that… You’ve got to be warm, emotional… It’s a tough gig.’

Adam and Holly showed their support for Gordon as they put on a united front at the TV chef’s new Netflix show launch party on Monday.

Being Gordon Ramsay, which will drop on the streaming platform on Wednesday, follows his lead-up to opening his biggest restaurant ventures to date, the opening of five culinary experiences in one of London’s tallest buildings, 22 Bishopsgate.

The TV star will also open the doors to his home over a six-month window, where he balances challenges as a husband and father to six children.
