Serial grave robber throws bucket of human bones at FBI field office: cops

It’s a grave situation.

A disturbed serial grave robber in Texas filmed himself throwing human remains over the fence at an FBI field office and then posted the video on YouTube, cops said.

Michael Chadwick Fry, 41, of Bartonville, Texas, said he was throwing the bucket of human bones to “summon” federal agents after stealing the remains from a mausoleum, according to the Bartonville Police Department.

He now faces two counts of abuse of a corpse and one count of tampering with evidence with intent to impair a human corpse, according to police.

Michael Chadwick Fry allegedly threw a bucket of human remains at an FBI field office in Texas. Denton County Jail

Fry’s mother called police Monday after he went to her house and requested money for a U-Haul because he “had a body that needed to moved,” authorities said. He “became irate” at her over the phone call, leaving before cops arrived, according to an arrest warrant obtained by KDFW.

“Shortly thereafter, investigators received credible information from FBI Special Agents indicating that Fry had thrown a bucket containing human bones over the fence of the FBI Dallas Field Office,” according to the arrest warrant.

He shared evidence of his alleged crime by filming a video titled, “We send Elizabeth over the FBI fence to summon them by force” and posting it on YouTube, officials said.

In the video, Fry filmed himself speaking with a person behind a window outside the FBI office to seek a “status check” on an investigation about “what happened to me and my dead family and friends.”

Fry previously drove his car into a local TV studio in Dallas, Texas, in 2018. On September 5, 2018, Michael Chadwick Fry was arrested after intentionally crashing a rented pickup truck into the Fox 4 News studio building in downtown Dallas

After returning to his car, Fry is seen pulling a bucket containing the alleged remains out of the trunk and hurling them over a fence before driving off.

“There’s more videos coming. We’re going to take bones all over the place. I got more,” Fry said in the video as he drove away.

Fry allegedly stole an urn from a cemetery in Oklahoma City in February and raided a separate mausoleum in Denton, Texas, according to police.

Footage of the bizarre previous stunt shows the nut acting out. On September 5, 2018, Michael Chadwick Fry was arrested after intentionally crashing a rented pickup truck into the Fox 4 News studio building in downtown Dallas

He also searched for three cemeteries in Texas and Oklahoma on the GPS in his mother’s car.

He referred to the remains in the bucket as “Elizabeth Virginia Lyon,” according to the affidavit.

Authorities are carrying out DNA tests to identify the bones.

Fry has a lengthy rap sheet, according to the police.

In 2018, he drove his car into the KDFW studios in downtown Dallas, leaving behind a bright orange duffel bag that prompted a bomb squad response.

He was reportedly upset that cops had shot his friend.

Fry is currently in the Denton County Jail on $30,000 bond.

FBI agents on Nancy Guthrie case zeroing in on 2 key dates — days before she was abducted

Investigators searching for Nancy Guthrie are reportedly zeroing in on evidence from two specific dates in the days before she vanished – suggesting her kidnappers may have been casing out her Arizona home for weeks before the crime.

The FBI has been asking the 84-year-old’s Tucson neighbors for any home security footage that may have from Jan. 11 and Jan. 24, NewNation’s Brian Entin reported.

Agents were adamant about those dates as spoke with neighbors about the disappearance, and even watched over shoulders as the neighbors scanned through their archives for the footage, according to Entin.

Nancy vanished from her home on Feb. 1 – with investigators’ interest in Jan. 11 and 24 suggesting her captors may have been in the neighborhood at least twice before the kidnapping.

The news also suggests that the FBI is retracing the steps of the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, which is accused of botching the investigation.

Savannah Guthrie lays flowers outside missing mother Nancy’s home and embraces sister and brother-in-law

Savannah Guthrie was seen placing flowers outside her missing mother Nancy’s home as the search for her marks a month.

The Today show host looked visibly heartbroken as she united with her older sister Annie and her brother-in-law Tommaso Cioni on Monday, in a video obtained by NewsNation correspondent Brian Entin.

The trio were seen locked arm in arm, laying flowers down as Annie wept and held onto her husband and famous sister for support.

Savannah leaned on her family members as they joined for a group hug in front of the many flowers and messages left for their missing 84-year-old mother.

The emotional moment came a month after Nancy was abducted from her home on the morning of February 1.

The grandmother was last seen on January 31 when she was dropped off at home by Cioni following a dinner and game night at his and Annie’s home. She failed to show up for a church service the next day.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department and the FBI have been on the case ever since, but the few leads they have received have been fruitless, as Nancy’s whereabouts still remain unknown.

The FBI recently announced that the agency would be scaling back its search for Nancy, with agents moving to a new command post more than 100 miles away from Phoenix.

Some agents will also stay behind in Tucson, sources with knowledge of the investigation told ABC News. Agents in Phoenix, meanwhile, will work the case from there.

The move does not indicate investigators are giving up on the search, sources claimed.

Savannah, Annie, and their brother Camron have shared several emotional videos online pleading for their mother’s captor to come forward and bring her home.

Last Tuesday, Savannah acknowledged for the first time that Nancy might not be alive.

‘We need to know where she is, we need her to come home,’ she said in a video posted to her Instagram account.

‘We also know that she may be lost, she may already be gone. She may have already gone home to the Lord that she loves,’ Savannah said through tears.

Savannah posted a series of videos on social media on Friday explaining how tipsters can collect the new $1 million reward her family is offering in exchange for information leading to her mother’s safe return.

The 54-year-old reposted her original plea from Tuesday and shared a Today Show report explaining how to submit anonymous tips to the FBI, overseen by co-anchors Carson Daly, Hoda Kotb, and Craig Melvin.

‘Please – be the one that brings her home,’ she wrote in a caption. ‘Tips can be anonymous, reward can be paid in cash, as explained here.’

On Thursday night, a man, later identified as Antonio De Jesus Pena-Campos, was arrested on DUI charges after he was allegedly caught driving past Nancy’s home ‘100 times.’

The 34-year-old was nabbed by officers with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department after reporters spotted him driving a blue Chevy SUV ‘very slowly’ near her Tucson home, police said.

After officers arrived at the scene, they conducted a sobriety test on Pena-Campos, which he failed.

He was then handcuffed and placed into a sheriff’s cruiser. His arrest is not related to Nancy’s disappearance, authorities stated.

Before police confirmed Pena-Campos’s arrest and identity, Entin reported that the driver ‘just kept stopping’ outside the property, passing between ’50 and 100 times.’

A media photographer who approached the individual reportedly also noticed he had a photo of Nancy on his phone.

FBI agents were seen outside the residence on Wednesday, combing through portions of the home and lawn that had already been searched.

The flurry of activity was related to an FBI effort to turn the home back over to the Guthrie family, officials told NBC News.

It comes as the Daily Mail revealed that Savannah is gearing up to return home to New York City soon.

The TV host, who shares two young kids with former Democratic political adviser Michael Feldman, has decided she must get her work life back on track as the search for her mother continues.

‘She can’t stay in Arizona forever,’ a source told the Daily Mail. ‘Her kids and her life are in New York City.

‘It’s what her mom would want her to do. Nancy was Savannah’s biggest cheerleader.’

Ominously, the source added: ‘The family is coming to terms with the fact that this might take years. Savannah is craving normalcy.’

Royal family faces fresh Andrew nightmare as FBI is urged to reopen probe into former prince’s Epstein ties

Behind the brutalist facade of FBI headquarters at 935 Pennsylvania Avenue agents are no doubt watching the scandal engulfing Britain’s royal family with more than a passing interest.

Whether there is any current FBI investigation into Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor remains a closely guarded secret. The agency typically works in silence and refuses to confirm or deny if active investigations exist.

But in the wake of the former prince’s arrest in the UK calls for action by America’s G-Men are growing.

‘If there is an active US investigation touching on conduct connected to American victims, or US soil, then the Federal Bureau of Investigation absolutely should seek to interview him through proper legal channels,’ Spencer Kuvin, a lawyer representing victims of Jeffrey Epstein, told the Daily Mail.

‘The United States and the United Kingdom have well-established mutual legal assistance mechanisms. Cooperation between governments is critical in transnational abuse cases. Survivors deserve a full accounting of the facts – wherever those facts lead.’

Royal family faces fresh Andrew nightmare as FBI is urged to reopen probe into former prince’s Epstein ties

Andrew is pictured being driven away from a police station after being arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office on February 19, 2026

Andrew, 66, was arrested on Thursday on suspicion of misconduct in public office. He was held in custody for 11 hours before being released under investigation.

He is accused of sharing sensitive information with Epstein, the late pedophile financier, during his time as a UK trade envoy.

Andrew has previously vehemently denied any wrongdoing over his links to Epstein.

If any of the information involved in the misconduct in public office case was found to relate to US companies then Andrew could also be investigated in America, according to the Epstein victims’ lawyer.

‘Given the historical association between Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein, any credible evidence of financial misconduct tied to US jurisdiction warrants thorough scrutiny,’ Kuvin said.

He added: ‘If no US information was traded, then it is likely that only the UK would assert jurisdiction over crimes like this.’

A spokesman for the FBI said: ‘The FBI declines to comment.’

Last July, Andrew was given a boost when an internal FBI memo revealed the agency did not at that time anticipate further charges against anyone in relation to Epstein.

Investigators said they had discovered no ‘evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties’.

Videos and photos seized from Epstein’s homes in New York, Florida and the Virgin Islands did not implicate anyone else in his crimes, according to the memo.

However, since Andrew’s arrest in the UK, there has been renewed pressure from members of Congress for investigations in the US to be renewed or intensified.

Republican congressman Thomas Massie, who was behind the law that led to the release of the Epstein Files, wrote on X: ‘Prince Andrew was just arrested. This was the metric I established for success of the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

‘Now we need JUSTICE in the United States. It’s time for Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel to act!’

Pressure for Andrew to testify to Congress is also reaching a crescendo.

The House Oversight Committee, which is investigating the Epstein scandal, wrote to Andrew in November asking him to submit to questioning as part of its inquiry.

In the wake of his arrest Suhas Subramanyam, a Democratic congressman on the committee, said: ‘He has continued to ignore our calls to cooperate with the Oversight Committee’s investigation. We hope the arrest will lead to answers and show that there will be accountability even if you hide, regardless of how rich and powerful you are.’

At FBI headquarters, the file of information about Andrew has been slowly growing for 15 years.

The Epstein files show that he was first mentioned in an FBI inquiry into Epstein in 2011 when agents went to Australia to interview a victim of the financier.

The name of the woman was redacted but she appeared to be Virginia Giuffre.

In the interview she claimed that Epstein abused her and that she was trafficked by Ghislaine Maxwell to other men, including Andrew.

She claimed that, when she was 17, Andrew engaged in sexual activity with her at Maxwell’s home in London, and that she gave him an ‘erotic massage’ at Epstein’s home in New York.

Andrew has always vehemently denied Giuffre’s claims, including during a Newsnight interview in 2019. Giuffre took her own life last year.

In 2019, an internal Department of Justice memo showed that prosecutors wanted to speak to Andrew as part of their Epstein investigation.

The memo said: ‘We are in the process of obtaining the name of a lawyer who represents Prince Andrew. Once we have this contact information, we plan to request an interview.’

The following year, Geoffrey Berman, the Manhattan US attorney, publicly accused Andrew of giving ‘zero’ assistance.

Berman said: ‘Prince Andrew has now completely shut the door on voluntary cooperation and our office is considering its options,’

The Epstein Files reveal that Andrew’s attorney subsequently privately asked officials at the Department of Justice to stop making such statements.

The attorney said he would ‘need to gather information from the Royal Household and others’ before Andrew could cooperate.

Epstein had offered to set up a dinner for Andrew with a 'clever, beautiful and trustworthy' 26-year-old Russian woman, saying: 'She has your email.' The former prince, who would have been 50 at the time, replied that he would be 'delighted to see her'. Department of Justice officials went on to make a formal request for British authorities to interview Andrew as a witness in connection with the Epstein investigation.

It was a request made under the Mutual Legal Assistance (MLA) treaty between the two countries.

Later, dealings between the two countries over whether Andrew would cooperate became even more delicate.

In an email exchange on Aug. 24, 2021, a British government official wrote to the US Embassy in London: ‘We are aware that a civil case has been filed (by Virginia Giuffre) in New York concerning the Epstein investigation with the material witness (Andrew) as the defendant.

‘Please can you let us know what impact this has on the material witness’s current status, as a witness, in the criminal investigation and in relation to the MLA request.’

A US Embassy official passed that on to the Department of Justice in Washington, writing: ‘I think they (the British) are asking whether, in light of the recent allegations, that Andrew “is now a suspect instead of a witness (in British parlance)”.’

‘I was going to respond with one word “none” but thought I should check first… The earlier the better because the Amb is keen to sort this out.’

The ‘Amb’ appeared to be a reference to the US ambassador in London.

The Epstein Files also show the British complained about leaks in the US that Andrew’s ‘refusal to talk’ to Epstein investigators was ‘straining relations’ between the UK and US.

Andrew’s last known visit to the US was in 2010 when he visited Epstein in New York.

There have been reports, citing friends, that he is ‘terrified’ to go back in case he is arrested.

‘It is not known whether there is a criminal investigation ongoing in the US, but fear of that could keep Andrew from traveling to the United States for holidays or to visit friends,’ immigration lawyer Melissa Chavin said.

She said if Andrew did agree to give evidence to Congress then he could be given a guarantee that he would not be arrested.

That could be done under a program run by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for expert witnesses.

‘ICE facilitates parole requests from government agencies like the FBI and the Department of Justice,’ she said.

‘ICE coordinates with the consulate local to the witness, like the London US Embassy, to authorize the parole. The witness would be watched carefully while in the US, and leave the country immediately following their testimony.’

Andrew has probably already lost his special royal visa to enter the US, she told the Daily Mail.

The A-1 ‘Head of State’ visa allows holders to come and go as they please from the US with minimal security checks and they receive special treatment at airports.

Names for those visas are put forward by foreign governments and approved by the US Secretary of State,

She said it was likely that the UK had Andrew ‘taken off the visa request rolls’ some time ago.

Inside Epstein’s Zorro Ranch ‘where paedophile looked to carry out human experiments and create super-race breeding facility’ and ‘buried girls who were strangled during sex’

Jeffrey Epstein’s sprawling Zorro Ranch has long been reported to have served as one of his private playgrounds for sexual abuse and trafficking.

From looking to carry out human experiments, create a super-race breeding facility using his DNA, and even allegedly burying the bodies of girls who had been strangled to death during ‘rough, fetish sex’, victims have long said the property in New Mexico has been overlooked by authorities.

The 7,500-acre estate, also referred to as the Playboy Ranch, has come under intense recent scrutiny after it made thousands of appearances in the disturbing Epstein files, released by the US Department of Justice on January 30.

Investigators previously searched Epstein’s New York and Palm Beach homes, his island, and even his Paris apartment. But no formal raid is believed to have ever taken place at Zorro Ranch.

This is despite allegations that the paedophile had planned to seed the human race with his DNA by impregnating women at the ranch and had three computer rooms the ‘size of houses’ where he would spy on his famous guests.

On multiple occasions beginning in the early 2000s, Epstein allegedly told scientists and businessmen about his ambitions to use the enormous property as a base where women would be inseminated with his sperm and give birth to his babies.

It was also alleged that Epstein’s disturbing goal was to have 20 women at a time impregnated at Zorro Ranch.

He is said to have based his idea on accounts of the Repository for Germinal Choice, which was to be stocked with the sperm of Nobel laureates who wanted to strengthen the human gene pool.

In November last year, witnesses claimed the disgraced financier had used the secluded compound to then physically conduct nonconsensual medical procedures to advance his alleged interest in selective breeding.

‘We have people coming forward saying they were drugged, had sex organs and sperm harvested from their bodies, and woke up around medical equipment not knowing where they were or what happened to them,’ New Mexico state Representative Andrea Romero told the Daily Mail.

Romero is now one of several lawmakers calling for a state ‘truth commission’ to investigate potential sexual and medical abuses on the isolated ranch.

As far-fetched as they may sound, the chilling accounts echo long-circulating claims about Epstein’s obsession with eugenics and his desire to engineer genetically ‘superior’ children.

Epstein used Zorro Ranch as an isolated getaway and playground for VIP guests who were able to come and go more discreetly than they could even to Little St James, his private Caribbean island off St Thomas.

Civil filings claim that the compound hosted the former Prince Andrew, who was accused by Virginia Giuffre, who produced photographs and written statements showing she visited the compound during the time she was trafficked as a teenager between 2000 and 2002.

‘My job was to entertain him endlessly, whether that meant having to bestow him my body during an erotic massage or simply take him horseback riding,’ Giuffre wrote in an unpublished manuscript called The Billionaire’s Playboy Club, which was contained in unsealed court documents in 2019.

Mountbatten-Windsor has not publicly acknowledged visiting Zorro and has consistently denied Giuffre’s abuse allegations.

There have been unverified claims by contractors and journalists that Bill Clinton and other prominent figures, including Woody Allen and Noam Chomsky, also spent time on the property.

There is no suggestion that they were aware of the alleged wrongdoing by Epstein

Maria Farmer, a former employee of Epstein, said she and her younger sister Annie visited Zorro Ranch in 1996 under the guise of an art commission.

Farmer alleged she was sexually assaulted by Epstein and his partner, Ghislaine Maxwell, who in 2021 was found guilty of child sex trafficking and is serving a 20-year sentence in federal prison.

Annie said she was 15 when flown to the property and directed by Epstein and Maxwell to take off all her clothes and get on a massage table.’

Farmer also claimed that the ranch housed three huge computer rooms, which were ‘bigger than houses’ to spy on Epstein’s elite roster of guests.

‘All of Epstein’s residences had these mechanical rooms and tunnel systems. I know this because Epstein told me,’ Farmer told The Sun in 2021.

‘These rooms were enormous – bigger than houses. I have no idea why anyone needs so many computers in one room.

All of Epstein’s estates had ‘pinhole cameras’ used to record everything, that were invisible to the naked eye unless you were looking right at them, Farmer said.

In 2021, an Albuquerque radio station host revealed that an architect and former IT contractor who worked on Epstein’s internet communications and security from 1999 to 2007 had called in to tell all on the mysterious property.

The architect had even provided inside photographs of the ranch and revealed other unusual features of Epstein’s estate.

One such feature, which the architect told the host, Aragon, was something he would never forget – a six-foot naked portrait of Ghislaine Maxwell holding a gold dagger that had been hung in the basement elevator hallway.

The portrait of Maxwell – with her legs reportedly spread – was the first thing that any guests or victims would see on their way down to the basement and pool areas.

This, the radio host said, was designed to intimidate the victims being brought to the ranch for Epstein.

Aragon also said that the plans reveal the ranch had an unusual number of bedrooms – just four – which, for a house over 33,000sq ft in size, seems like a small amount.

‘These plans give us a firmer idea of what was going on at the ranch,’ Aragon said.

‘All of that in the basement feels more like a dungeon with the nebulous mechanical rooms,’ he added.

The plans showed that Epstein’s master bedroom takes up most of the space on the first floor, while on the same level, there were two relatively tiny en-suite bedrooms and a fourth ‘staff bedroom’ on the first floor.

Every room – from the closets to the bathrooms – appeared to have a ‘vestibule’, which Aragon suggested were holding area for the women before they visited Epstein.

‘The maze of rooms, doors, vestibules, waiting areas, and doors, there’s no doubt were used to maximum effect to trap and contain the victims until they were needed for Epstein’s rituals,’ Aragon said.

‘There appears to be no escape. Can you imagine how that would feel for young teenage girls? They must have felt so hopeless and vulnerable.’

More recently, it has been alleged that Epstein had ordered two ‘foreign girls’ who had been strangled to death during ‘rough, fetish sex’ to be buried near the ranch, according to an email released in the latest Epstein files.

The email, sent by a person claiming to have worked for Epstein, also includes links purporting to show the late paedophile engaging in sex with underage girls.

The correspondence, first sent to a man named Eddy Aragon on November 21, 2019, before being forwarded to the FBI, was released as part of three million documents from the Epstein files.

In the email, titled ‘Confidential: Jeffrey Epstein’, the person, whose name has been redacted, claimed to have ‘been there and seen it all, as a former staff at the Zorro.’

They alleged the girls were buried on the orders of Epstein and ‘Madam G’, believed to be Ghislaine Maxwell, at Zorro Ranch.

In the email, they wrote: ‘Edward. This is sensitive, so it will be the first and last email depending on your discretion.

‘You can choose to take it or trash it, but this comes from a person that has been there and seen it all, as a former staff at the Zorro.

‘The material below was taken from Jeffrey Epstein home as my insurance in case of future litigation against Epstein. SORRY NO QUESTIONS.

They added: ‘What is damning about Jeffrey Epstein is yet to be written. Did you know somewhere in the hills outside the Zorro, two foreign girls were buried on orders of Jeffrey and Madam G? Both died by strangulation during rough, fetish sex.’

The sender also included links to videos that claimed to show Epstein having sex with minors, threesomes, and sex with underage girls.

The email was forwarded to the FBI just three months after Epstein died while being held at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City.

A former police officer who patrolled the area around the ranch for 15 years also told the FBI he was worried that evidence was being destroyed on the estate, as seen in a document.

The document, dated July 19, 2019, just days after Epstein’s arrest, was an FBI report log that included details of a call taken from a retired New Mexico State police officer, whose name has been redacted.

The former cop said he noticed the barn had a chimney and a ‘sally port’ – a secure entryway with multiple doors, set up so only one could be opened at a time.

A report of the call reads: ‘The property which is on Zorro Ranch Road, Stanley, NM, his recently had a large barn constructed.

‘The barn is suspicious as there is a garage door that appears to be a sally port, and there is a chimney.

‘[Redacted name] is concerned the property could potentially have an incinerator concealed within the barn.

‘An old 1970s mobile home was recently put right behind the barn, which believes does not follow Santa Fe County regulations.

‘[Redacted name] explained that there is a lot of security for the properties including cameras, sally ports, and other security measures.

‘[Redacted name] wanted to report the information to the FBI because he is concerned evidence could be destroyed here.’

The ex-officer also told the FBI there had been ‘a lot of high-profile people seen frequently’ at the ranch.

According to the report, the retired policeman said he had heard ‘rumours’ about Epstein using the property for ‘recruiting girls to visit’.

The ex-cop’s call to the FBI came just days after Epstein was arrested on sex trafficking charges on July 6, 2019, and weeks before his death on August 10.

New Mexico’s attorney general has now reopened the investigation into Epstein´s former Zorro Ranch.

Attorney General Raúl Torrez’s office said last week that the decision was made after reviewing information recently released by the US Justice Department.

Although New Mexico´s initial case was closed in 2019 at the request of federal prosecutors in New York, state prosecutors say now that ‘revelations outlined in the previously sealed FBI files warrant further examination.’

The New Mexico Department of Justice said special agents and prosecutors at the agency will be seeking immediate access to the complete, unredacted federal case file and intend to work with other law enforcement partners, as well as a new truth commission established by state lawmakers to look into activities at the ranch.

‘As with any potential criminal matter, we will follow the facts wherever they lead, carefully evaluate jurisdictional considerations, and take appropriate investigative action, including the collection and preservation of any relevant evidence that remains available,’ the New Mexico Department of Justice said in a statement.

Documents released as part of the Epstein files also show the paedophile financier intended to leave his Zorro estate to his Belarusian girlfriend, Karyna Shuliak.

Epstein bought Zorro Ranch in 1993 from Bruce King, a former three-time New Mexico governor.

The 13 square miles of high desert include a 26,700-square-foot luxury hacienda, guest lodges and staff dwellings, several outbuildings, a firehouse, horse stables, a seven-bay heated garage, a greenhouse to grow fresh produce, a cattle grazing operation, and a private airstrip, hangar, and helipad.

Epstein owned the property until he died in a New York federal prison. His estate listed it in 2021 for $27.5million.

That price was later dropped to $18 million, and the ranch was sold for an undisclosed price in 2023 to a limited liability corporation that renamed the property the San Rafael Ranch, but whose owner is shrouded in secrecy.

Mom who went missing without a trace 24 years ago is found ALIVE living double life in North Carolina

A mother of three who went missing 24 years ago has finally been found after living a double life in North Carolina as her family wrestles with the gut-wrenching news.

Michele Hundley Smith vanished in December of 2001 at 38 years old after she left her home in Eden to go Christmas shopping, leaving behind her three children, aged 19, 14 and seven.

But after more than two decades of searching, Smith was found ‘alive and well’ on Friday by the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office, a release announced.

‘I kind of want to go outside and scream, “she’s alive, she’s alive”,’ Smith’s cousin Barbara Byrd told WFMYNews 2

‘For years, we didn’t know if we were grieving or waiting… My biggest question is to her, “What happened all those years ago in December? What made you leave? What happened?”‘

According to the sheriff’s office, Smith’s case was investigated by multiple agencies including the FBI.

On February 19, investigators received new information related to her case and made contact with her the following day, the release said.

However, all the answers may not be found with Smith’s reappearance, as the sheriff’s office said Smith requested her location not be shared.

‘I understand and respect that she doesn’t want any of us to contact her,’ Byrd told the outlet.

‘I’m not angry…The biggest answer I had today was she was alive. Nothing else matters right at this moment.’

On Facebook, Smith’s daughter Amanda wrote a lengthy statement following the news that her mother had been found.

‘As far as my opinions and feelings on my mom…I am ecstatic, I am p***ed, I am heartbroken, I am all over the map! Will I have a relationship once more with my mom? Honestly I can’t answer that because I don’t even know. My initial reaction would be yes absolutely but then I think of all the hurt…But even then, my mom is only human just as we all are,’ she wrote.

‘When my mom was a part of my daily life, she showed me a love and bond that will never ever be forgotten. There were mother daughter arguments of course, but right now all I can remember are the smiles we shared, the times together that were happy and the love I felt!’

‘My dad has been in my daily life all of my life, and he shows me love and we have a life that will never be forgotten! There were father daughter arguments as well but all I remember are the smiles we have, the love I feel and the bond we share!

‘Both my dad and my mom deserve to have their choices and their feelings respected as well.’

Smith’s disappearance haunted her family for years, leaving them with so many unanswered questions.

‘I don’t know what exactly happened. I’m not even sure til this very day if you are still here on Earth or if you have passed,’ her daughter wrote on Facebook in 2024.

‘All I do know is that you left a hole in people’s hearts! I cry and mourn for a relationship that will never again be, I cry and mourn for a relationship that was never had …and we will never know, will we?’

‘I love you and I miss you and that’s every single day. I’m angry because of the hurt but I’m mostly angry that my brother and sister had/have to feel hurt and pain. If I were to find you in life, if I was to find out that you did simply run away from everything… I am sure that I would still love you just the same,’ she said, adding that she believed she would still be angry for the pain her siblings also had to endure.

A Facebook page dedicated to her missing mother, Bring Michele Hundley Smith Home, said that Smith had been driving her forest green 1995 Pontiac Trans Sport van which was never found when she disappeared.

‘Michele would have never left her children by choice. We are desperate for answers and we are asking for community support and assistance in trying to find the truth on what happened to Michele and why she mysteriously vanished never to be seen again,’ the page said.

‘There has been no real investigation into her disappearance to this day almost 20 years later…Lets try and end this nightmare for Michele’s loved ones and bring her home.’

The page is set to be repurposed for other missing persons cases.

FBI were warned Epstein could be destroying ‘evidence’ in an incinerator after ‘suspicious barn’ was built at Zorro Ranch where former worker claimed the paedophile buried ‘strangled girls’

The FBI was warned that Jeffrey Epstein could have been destroying evidence in an incinerator after a ‘suspicious barn’ was built on his Zorro Ranch, where he allegedly buried ‘strangled girls’.

A former police officer who patrolled the area around the ranch for 15 years told the FBI he was worried that evidence was being destroyed, as seen in a document published by the US Department of Justice.

It comes amid swirling allegations about what role the hideaway in New Mexico played in sexual abuse or sex trafficking of underage girls and young women.

The disgraced financier’s ranch is now the subject of a new investigation after chilling claims about the bodies of two foreign girls being buried at the 7,600-acre property emerged.

‘[Redacted name] explained that the barn that was constructed doesn’t look like a barn you would use for ranching.

‘[Redacted name] wanted to report the information to the FBI because he is concerned evidence could be destroyed here.’

The ex-officer also told the FBI there had been ‘a lot of high-profile people seen frequently’ at the ranch.

According to the report, the retired policeman said he had heard ‘rumours’ about Epstein using the property for ‘recruited girls to visit’.

The ex-cop’s call to the FBI came just days after Epstein was arrested on sex trafficking charges on July 6, 2019, and weeks before his death on August 10.

New Mexico’s attorney general has now reopened the investigation into Epstein´s former Zorro Ranch.

Attorney General Raúl Torrez’s office said Thursday that the decision was made after reviewing information recently released by the US Justice Department.

Attention on the ranch comes as disturbing allegations surfaced in the latest tranche of Epstein files released by the US Government on January 30.

Epstein allegedly ordered the burial of two ‘foreign girls’ near his ranch after they were strangled to death during ‘rough, fetish sex’, according to an email.

The email, sent by a person claiming to have worked for Epstein, also includes links purporting to show the late paedophile engaging in sex with underage girls.

The correspondence, first sent to a man named Eddy Aragon on November 21, 2019, before being forwarded onto the FBI.

‘You can choose to take it or trash it but this comes from a person that has been there and seen it all, as a former staff at the Zorro.

The sender also included links to videos which claimed to show Epstein having sex with minors, threesomes and sex with underage girls.

They then demanded a payment of one Bitcoin in return for the video and information.

The email was forwarded onto the FBI just three months after Epstein died while being held at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City.

Documents released as part of the Epstein files also show the paedophile financier intended to leave his Zorro estate to his Belarusian girlfriend Karyna Shuliak.

Epstein bought Zorro Ranch in 1993 from Bruce King, a former three-time New Mexico governor.

The 13 square miles of high desert include a 26,700-square foot luxury estate, guest lodges, staff dwellings and several outbuildings.

It also has a firehouse, horse stables, a seven-bay heated garage, a greenhouse to grow fresh produce, a cattle grazing operation and private air strip, a hangar and a helipad.

Epstein owned the property until his death. His estate listed it in 2021 for $27.5million.

That price was later dropped to $18 million and the ranch sold for an undisclosed price in 2023 to a limited liability corporation that renamed the property the San Rafael Ranch, but whose owner is shrouded in secrecy.

Epstein used Zorro Ranch as an isolated getaway and playground for VIP guests who were able to come and go more discreetly than they could even to Little St James, his private Caribbean island off St Thomas.

In 2019 after Epstein’s death, a woman identified as Jane Doe said in court that he had molested her at Zorro Ranch in 2004, when she was 15.

The woman recalled feeling small and powerless, describing how he laid her on the floor so she was confronted by all the framed photographs on his dresser of him smiling with wealthy celebrities and politicians.

‘People deserve to know the truth about what happened on Epstein´s ranch and are looking to leaders for answers,’ Garcia Richard said in a statement.

Civil filings claim that the compound hosted the former Prince Andrew, who was accused by Virginia Giuffre of sexual abuse on three occasions, although not at the Zorro Ranch.

Andrew MOuntbatten-Windsor has always denied her claims.

However, civil findings produced photographs and written statements showing Giuffre visited the compound during the time she was trafficked as a teenager between 2000 and 2002.

Earlier Thursday, British police arrested the former Prince Andrew on suspicion of misconduct in public office related to his links to the late sex offender.

In Washington, D.C., members of Congress are still working to lift the veil with more testimony from powerful people.

FBI ‘has names and photos of people who may be masked suspect caught on surveillance video outside Nancy Guthrie’s home’

The FBI reportedly has names and photos of people who match the description of the masked suspect caught on surveillance footage outside of Nancy Guthrie’s home the night she disappeared.

Nancy Guthrie, 84, was last seen on the night of January 31. Authorities believe she was kidnapped in the early hours of February 1.

Nancy seemingly disappeared without a trace. Law enforcement’s first leads were blood on her front door and a disconnected front door camera.

A break in the case came on February 10 when the FBI uncovered previously lost surveillance footage from the night she disappeared, revealing a masked individual approaching her home.

The FBI now reportedly has names and photos of people who match the mysterious masked man, CBS News reported.

The eerie footage shows what authorities believe is a man disabling Nancy’s camera. The suspect was also carrying what appears to be a gun in a holster.

Local business and gun shop owners told CBS that authorities have asked them if they recognize any names and faces that could potentially be the suspect.

One gun shop owner told the outlet that he received a packet from law enforcement with photos of driver’s licenses and pictures from social media.

The gun shop owner told authorities that he didn’t recognize any of the names or faces. He searched the company’s purchase history for names, but no leads came of it.

Philip Martin, the co-owner of Armor Bearer Arms, told local CBS affiliate, KOLD, that an FBI agent visited his shop sometime between February 10 and 12.

Martin said he received a packet of between 18 and 24 images and names to check if any had purchased a gun at his store in the last year.

He searched the company database but didn’t find any matches. The FBI agent didn’t disclose what the names were regarding, but Martin told KOLD he believed they matched the suspect’s description.

‘Based on that video I saw of the kidnapper at the house who was caught on camera — the facial hair that I saw on the video reminds me a lot of these photographs,’ Martin told KOLD.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos told Fox News that investigators haven’t narrowed their search down to a specific group.

When asked whether authorities have identified around 40 people as potential suspects, Nanos replied that those claims were false.

‘We haven’t narrowed it down to anything other than we have pieces of evidence that we’re looking at to try to find this individual,’ the sheriff added.

Gun store owner says FBI asked him to check firearm sales against list of names, pics in Nancy Guthrie case

An Arizona gun store owner says an FBI agent asked him to review recent firearm purchases tied to a list of nearly two dozen people, as the search for Nancy Guthrie continues into a third week.

Phillip Martin, co-owner of Armor Bearer Arms in Tucson, told Fox News’ Amalia Roy that an FBI agent visited his store with three pages of approximately 18 to 24 individuals with corresponding photos and names.

The agent, Martin said, asked to check whether any of those people had purchased a firearm from his store within the past year.

“He actually had given me a list of paper, list of people that had pictures and names on it, and he wanted to know if I could help him pull up in my system if any of these people have purchased a gun in the last year,” Martin said.

Martin said he initially questioned the request but ultimately agreed to help out of concern for Guthrie’s family.

“I felt bad for the family. Anything that could help them find the person I was willing to help,” he said.

Martin said he entered each last name into his store’s electronic records system, which would display identifying information if the individual had made a purchase.

He said none of the names returned a match for firearm purchases within the past year.

According to Martin, the agent told him investigators planned to visit additional gun stores to determine whether anyone on the list had recently bought a weapon.

On Tuesday, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos disputed reports that authorities have narrowed the suspect pool to a few dozen individuals.

During an interview with Fox News’ Jonathan Hunt, Nanos denied that investigators had focused on a specific group.

“That’s not true,” Nanos said when asked whether authorities had identified around 40 people as potential suspects.

“We haven’t narrowed it down to anything other than we have pieces of evidence that we’re looking at to try to find this individual,” Nanos said.

FBI releases detailed description of Nancy Guthrie suspect and backpack he was carrying as reward for info is raised to $100,000: Live updates

The FBI have released a detailed description of a suspect seen in surveillance video in Nancy Guthrie’s kidnapping case.

The FBI says the suspect is a man between 5’9” and 5’10” with an average build, who was wearing a black 25‑liter ‘Ozark Trail Hiker Pack’ backpack in the video. The agency has increased its reward in the case from $50,000 to $100,000 as police field tips.

A white forensics tent was spotted outside Nancy’s Arizona home early Thursday morning as the search for her whereabouts entered its 13th day/

It comes as the FBI is combing through the rugged terrain around Savannah Guthrie’s mother’s $1 million Tucson, Arizona, home, where she was abducted from the early hours of February 1.

Investigators have been inundated with thousands of tips after publishing doorbell camera footage showing a male figure wearing a ski mask and thick gloves approaching Nancy’s residence, then realizing the camera was recording him and tearing it off.

Arizona sheriff Chris Nanos hit back at claims that his department is blocking FBI access to key evidence in the investigation as ‘not even close to the truth.’

The FBI asked Pima County Sheriff Nanos for physical evidence in the case, including a glove and DNA from the home of 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie, to be processed at the FBI’s national crime laboratory in Quantico, Virginia, but Nanos has insisted instead on using a private lab in Florida.

Man responsible for fake ransom note to be arraigned today

Derrick Callella, the man charged with allegedly sending a fake ransom note in Nancy Guthrie’s case, is set to be arraigned in a federal courthouse in Arizona today at 4pm local time.

Callella sent a fake ransom text to Nancy Guthrie’s daughter in early February, a few days after Nancy had been kidnapped.

Callella texted Annie and Cioni on February 4: ‘Did you get the bitcoin were [sic] waiting on our end for the transaction’.

Three minutes later, he phoned one of Nancy’s family members. The call lasted only nine seconds, the criminal complaint said.

He contacted the family shortly after Today Show host Savannah Guthrie, Annie and their brother Camron posted a video to Instagram begging for their mother’s return.

Callella allegedly admitted to sending the messages and told investigators he was ‘just trying to see if the family would respond.

Officials confirmed Callella had also been charged in a 2023 embezzlement scheme in which 13 Los Angeles County employees allegedly stole over $430,000 in unemployment benefits from the county.

Outfit clues that can unmask Nancy Guthrie’s kidnapper: Suspect’s distinctive backpack, gloves and holster traced to Tucson Walmart

Grainy. Fleeting. Less than a minute in total. But for detectives investigating the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie from a quiet Tucson foothills home, the newly-recovered doorbell footage is dynamite.

The black-and-white images – released by the FBI in what officials describe as the first major break in the case – show a masked, armed figure on the porch of her $1 million home in the early hours of Sunday, February 1.

The individual appears to tamper with the doorbell camera, at one point holding a flashlight in their mouth while adjusting the device. It is the first time investigators and the public have seen the suspect.

Karoline Leavitt says Nancy Guthrie cops are getting full federal support

Speaking to Fox News on Friday, press secretary Karoline Leavitt said that the FBI was providing every possible resource to assist with the ongoing Nancy Guthrie investigation.

‘We are offering the full resources and weight of the federal government to help local authorities bring this case to an end to bring Nancy Guthrie home,’ Leavitt said.

‘President Trump immediately offered that when this case was first heard about, when this news broke and our hearts break every day that this goes on.’

Earlier this week, President Donald Trump reviewed the new security footage released by the FBI from Nancy Guthrie’s home.

Leavitt said she was with the president as they reviewed the new evidence in the case which she described as ‘heartbreaking.’

The shocking footage revealed a masked figure with a latex glove tampering with a security camera at the home. It was released just hours before police detained a person of interest in the case near Tucson, Arizona.

Leavitt said President Trump reacted to the footage with ‘pure disgust.’

Retired forensic sketch artist creates unofficial drawing of Nancy Guthrie suspect

Retired Houston sketch artist Lois Gibson created an unofficial sketch of an unidentified police suspect captured in Nancy Guthrie’s home surveillance footage from the night she disappeared.

Gibson has not been brought on by Arizona police in the search and the sketch has not been officially released by authorities.

The forensic artist created a mock up of what the suspect could look like based on what little the surveillance footage reveals: eyes, lips and facial hair beneath the mask.

‘I couldn’t stop myself, I just couldn’t stop myself, I wanted to help, I felt the pain,’ Gibson told KHOU 11.

‘I’ve been in the room with people, their babies have been kidnapped and it takes you by the throat, it makes you feel like you’re choking over what they’re going through, so I wanted to help them.’

Arizona sheriff Chris Nanos hits back at claims that department is ‘withholding evidence’ in Nancy Guthrie case

An Arizona sheriff was said to be blocking FBI access to key evidence in the investigation into the abduction of Savannah Guthrie’s mother, a source told Reuters on Thursday.

The FBI asked Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos for physical evidence in the case, including a glove and DNA from the home of 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie, to be processed at the FBI’s national crime laboratory in Quantico, Virginia.

Sheriff Nanos has insisted instead on using a private lab in Florida.

He slammed claims that his department was ‘withholding evidence’ as ‘Not even close to the truth.’

‘Actually, the FBI just wanted to send the one or two they found by the crime scene, closest to it – mile, mile and a half…’ he continued.

‘I said “No, why do that? Let’s just send them all to where all the DNA exist, all the profiles and the markers exist.” They agreed, makes sense.’

The sheriff also argued that the gloves found at the scene by FBI investigators may not be as valuable as initially thought as police found multiple pairs on the side of the road near Nancy’s home.

‘We don’t even know the true value of these gloves,’ Nanos said, claiming there was ‘quite a number of them.’

Backpack seen in surveillance video is exclusive to Walmart

Authorities announced on Thursday that the suspect who was seen trying to obscure a Nest doorbell camera outside Nancy Guthrie’s home on the night of her disappearance had been carrying a 25-liter ‘Ozark Trail Hiker Pack’ backpack.

The brand is exclusive to Walmart, and can only be bought new from the store.

Man accused of sending fake ransom appears in court

Derrick Callella, 42, the California man accused of sending a fake ransom note to Nancy Guthrie’s family, made his initial appearance in federal court in Tucson today.

Callella is charged with transmitting a demand for ransom in interstate commerce and using a telecommunications device with intent to abuse, threaten or harass a person.

He allegedly sent the demands as text messages to Guthrie’s family on February 4 and made a nine-second phone call to a family member.

Callella was released before trial, on the condition that he limit travel only from California to Arizona and is not allowed to contact any potential witnesses or victims, KVOA reports.
