Seven dogs stolen from a village in Changchun, China, pulled off an incredible escape from an alleged dog meat transport truck and walked over 10 miles to return to their families.

The group included a Corgi, what appeared to be an injured German Shepherd, a Golden Retriever, a Labrador, and a Pekingese. They were spotted walking together along busy roads, determined and sticking close as a team. The dogs seemed especially concerned for the injured German Shepherd, often pausing to wait for him as they continued their journey.

The footage, recorded by a passerby on March 16 and shared online, went viral, captivating millions on social media. Observers noted the dogs’ remarkable coordination and teamwork, the Corgi would often look back to check on the injured dog, while the larger dogs appeared to protect him during the trek.

Local volunteers and animal rescue groups tracked the dogs’ movements and helped ensure their safe return. After hours of trekking, all seven dogs were safely reunited with their owners, a true miracle.
