Raptors’ Brandon Ingram questionable vs. Mavericks, Collin Murray-Boyles out
For a second consecutive game, the Toronto Raptors face the possibility of playing without their leading scorer.
All-star forward Brandon Ingram has been listed as questionable for Sunday’s home game against the Dallas Mavericks (Sportsnet ONE, Sportsnet+, 6 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT) due to an illness, the team announced on Saturday.
Ingram entered Thursday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves — a 115-107 loss for Toronto — also listed as questionable, but that was because of a left thumb sprain. The 28-year-old ultimately did play and put up 14 points, five rebounds, two assists and a steal on 5-of-16 shooting.
For the season, Ingram is averaging a team-best 21.9 points per game to go with 5.7 rebounds and 3.8 assists while shooting 37.3 per cent from beyond the arc.
The former second-overall pick is in his first full season with the Raptors after he was acquired at last year’s NBA trade deadline and later extended on a three-year deal. Ingram has only missed two games through 2025-26 thus far.
Meanwhile, the Raptors ruled out forward Collin Murray-Boyles for Sunday due to a left thumb sprain. It’ll be the rookie’s fourth consecutive absence as a result of the lingering injury and 11th since it first began bothering him in late December.
Murray-Boyles, the ninth overall pick in 2025, is averaging 7.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists through 47 games (22 starts) this season.
Toronto will also be without two-way players Chucky Hepburn, Alijah Martin and A.J. Lawson, and sophomore forward Jonathan Mogbo, who’s on assignment with the G League’s Raptors 905.
The fifth-seeded Raptors (35-27) will be looking to bounceback from back-to-back losses against the 12-seed Mavericks (21-42), who are on a six-game skid of their own.
