Putting Together the Peach Kitty’s Easter Basket

Putting Together the Peach Kitty’s Easter Basket
You saw me getting the items for the peach kitty’s Easter basket. Now I get to put it all together. I started off with this new felt Easter basket my human got from CVS, filled with paper Easter grass. Plastic grass is dangerous because if a cat chews and swallows any, it’s a medical emergency. So don’t ever use it, even for human Easter baskets, if you have cats!

We also chose the felt basket over a wicker one because they’re not that good for kitties to chew on either.

Here are the toys I got during my shopping trip the other day, plus the freeze dried chicken treats.

We had a hard time finding catnip! The guy who supplies the local pet stores moved away, and even the garden centers didn’t have any. So we had to settle on catmint. I hope he doesn’t mind. We also picked up some cat grass, although I don’t know if he’ll care. I mean, he’s got all the outside grass to chew on.

So here’s everything! I hope it fits in the basket!

And it did, but just barely! He’s never seen an Easter basket before, so it’ll be interesting to see what he thinks.
