Playful Shelter Dog Entertains Himself as He Waits to Be Adopted | The Animal Rescue Site

Shelter life can be hard on dogs with the unfamiliar sounds, smells, and limited outdoor time, especially for active dogs.
However, one shelter dog at Humane Society of Broward County is not letting his current situation get him down. Instead, he is entertaining himself (and staff) by tossing his toys in the air and zooming around his kennel to burn some energy.
The playful fella is a two-year-old American Bulldog mix named Delta. He is always up for a game of fetch, going for a walk, exploring, and even playing in water. He thrives when he has something to do and is looking for an active partner to go on adventures with.
Check out the adorable video of him playing in his kennel that was shared by the shelter.
The shelter is hoping to find his match soon as he has been overlooked for some time. He was transferred from another shelter and his past is unknown. What they do know is that Delta will be a great companion to keep you on your toes (literally) and bring joy to his family if someone will just give him a chance. He just wants someone to play with.
A volunteer recently took him on a day trip outside the shelter and he loved it. The volunteer shared, “Delta is such a good boy in the car, loves to play with his toys, go for a walk and cuddle with you, he is adorable sitting on your lab and wanting just love and more love. Just look at his sweet big smile.”
His adoption fee has been covered, and he is ready to start his next adventure in a loving home. Check out all the adoptable dogs at the shelter here and don’t forget to share his story to help him find his person.
