Trip comes a month after Tory MP’s Washington visit
Poilievre’s venture south comes a little more than a month after Conservative MP Jamil Jivani’s widely-discussed visit to Washington, where he met with government and industry leaders, including U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and U.S. President Donald Trump.
Jivani reported having “positive” conversations about the Canada-U.S.-Mexico free trade agreement with General Motors, the National Association of Manufacturers and the American Automotive Policy Council.
