A 53-year-old man from Charlottetown has died following a snowmobile crash on the Confederation Trail near Route 15 in Brackley, P.E.I.
Queens District RCMP responded to a report of a single-vehicle snowmobile crash in the area around 1:10 a.m. AT Saturday.
The snowmobile went off the trail and hit a tree, RCMP said.
The man was the only person on the snowmobile and was declared dead at the scene, police said.
RCMP continue to investigate.
