A pedestrian is dead after he was hit by a vehicle on Stoney Trail in northeast Calgary late Tuesday night.
The collision happened just before 11 p.m. near the intersection with McKnight Boulevard, police said.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
Access to southbound Stoney Trail from 16th Avenue to McKnight Boulevard was closed throughout the night but reopened by about 5:30 a.m.
