2026 Olympic Games: Heartbreak for Canada after U.S. wins men’s hockey gold in overtime | CBC
No more nerves, ‘get in front of that goalie,’ says Doughty
Drew Doughty says the “nerves are out.”
With two periods down, the veteran player says the team needs to “just go out there and play the exact same way we played in that second period: get in front of that goalie, get some goals and obviously be tracking hard and keep ’em out of our net.”
Doughty said Team Canada’s been “playing on our toes,” getting changes and making the U.S. tired in its defence zone.
“We’re getting pucks to the net and we need to do that for the third, too.”
