Yankees news: Aaron Judge gives Bronx Bombers’ 2026 outlook
Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees had a mixed 2025 season. While he and his teammates reached the postseason, they fell short against the Toronto Blue Jays in the American League Division Series.
However, Judge and the Yankees have already moved on from it and are looking forward to the 2026 campaign. MLB Network Radio on SiriusXM uploaded a video on X on Saturday, where the outfielder was asked how he felt about the team running it back.
“I love it,” Judege said (Timestamp: 0:00). “That’s one thing I have been vocal about. They know the clubhouse, they know the expectations. They’re only going to elevate their game. The first year, you’re trying to get comfortable, you’re trying to get to know guys while you’re still trying to face the best pitchers in the game. It’s tough.

“So, I’m excited for those guys coming back and then plus, we got a chance to get Gerrit Cole back. Some of our starting pitchers are coming back healthy. People say it’s the same team. But I gotta disagree with them a little bit.”
Judge had 541 at-bats with a batting average of .331 in the 2025 regular season. He also recorded 137 runs, 53 homers and 114 RBIs.
Aaron Judge delivered a strong message ahead of the World Baseball Classic
Aaron Judge will step aside from his duties with the New York Yankees to lead Team USA at the World Baseball Classic starting on Wednesday. He delivered a strong statement on Saturday, expressing his love for the country.
“I’m going into this (tournament) to win it, but it’s not just that,” Judge said to reporters. “I’m representing the U.S. I love this country. It’s the greatest country in the world. I think about the men and women who have sacrificed so much to preserve our freedom and our way of life.”
Judge added that he will wear Team USA’s jersey to honor those who sacrificed their lives so that he can play the “kids’ game.”
