Will Ospreay Gives Massive Health Update following Blockbuster Return At AEW Revolution

Will Ospreay made his return at AEW Revolution 2026. Following this, he has provided a massive health update.

Will Ospreay was last seen at Forbidden Door 2025, where he competed in the brutal Lights Out Steel Cage match. Although his team was on the winning side of this contest, Ospreay was brutally assaulted by the Death Riders. Following this, it was reported that the Aerial Assassin would be taking time away due to neck issues. He even underwent double fusion surgery in September 2025.

At AEW Revolution 2026, Jon Moxley defended his Continental Championship against Konosuke Takeshita in an instant classic match. After Mox retained his title, Ospreay’s music played, and he came out and attacked the Death Riders. Following this, he has taken to social media to provide a health update.

“Double fusion Surgery date: 17th September 2025 Got cleared: 25th February 2026 Back: 15th March 2026,” wrote Ospreay.

Will Ospreay was ecstatic after the success of Wrestle Queendom

Amid his absence, Will Ospreay has been busy booking and producing matches for Pro Wrestling Eve. He was also involved in booking the Eve Wrestle Queendom 8 show, which features several prominent independent wrestlers as well as stars from NJPW and AEW.

Following the success of Wrestle Queendom 8, Ospreay took to social media to call it one of the greatest nights of his career.

“Wrestle Queendom 8 was one of the greatest nights of my wrestling career. To have influence from so many promotions; British, Irish, European, Stardom, NJPW, Sendai Girls, Tokyo Joshi Pro & AEW Thank you to all the front of house staff at the 02, EVE Staff & production team,” wrote Ospreay.

It looks like the Aerial Assassin will be next in line to challenge Jon Moxley for the Continental Championship.
