“Wemby need to outmeat people to win MVP” – NBA Fans Go Wild After Stephen A. Smith’s Bizarre ‘Lacking Beef & Meat’ Take on Victor Wembanyama
ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith commented on the one thing lacking from Victor Wembanyama. Wembanyama had to leave the San Antonio Spurs-Philadelphia 76ers game on Monday after he suffered a rib contusion. Fortunately for the Spurs, they still outplayed the 76ers and secured a 115-102 victory.
Smith pointed out that Wembanyama almost has everything. The NBA star can score, defend, create for his teammates and be the team’s offensive system. However, he pointed out on Tuesday’s episode of “First Take” that the two-time All-Star lacks the muscle needed to stay healthy and outwork his competition.
Thanks for the submission!
“You forget how slim he really, really is,” Smith said. “And so, when you see something like that happens, it reminds you of the vulnerability. Like, ‘Where’s the beef?’ … The one think lacking on him is that beef, that meat.”

Stephen A. Smith Doesn’t Believe in the Lakers in the Playoffs
The LA Lakers have worked hard to be competitive this season and are the No. 4 team in the Western Conference. If they remain in that spot until the end of the season, the Lakers could have home-court advantage in the playoffs.
However, the recent injuries to Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves have led Stephen A. Smith to doubt their postseason chances. Both Doncic and Reaves have been out for the remainder of the season and are likely to miss the beginning of the postseason.
Because of their absence, Smith believes they won’t last in the playoffs.
“They’re going home in April. Without Luka and without AR, the Lakers are going home in April,” Smith said (Timestamp at 1:14).
The Lakers had their first real test without their two best scorers on Sunday. The team didn’t have enough against the Dallas Mavericks, despite LeBron James going for 30 points, nine rebounds and 15 assists.
Stephen A. Smith strongly believes the team needs the production from Doncic and Reaves.
