“Unforgivable” – Fan favorite wrestler comments on her partner Toni Storm being viciously attacked on AEW Dynamite
Toni Storm was left battered and bloodied by a mystery assailant this week on AEW Dynamite. Now, her tag partner and close ally, Mina Shirakawa, has shared an emotional comment on the backstage ambush suffered by the former Women’s Champion.
Last Sunday at Revolution 2026, Toni Storm battled and beat Marina Shafir in a singles bout with all seconds and allies banned from ringside. The Problem left the PPV with the last laugh, however, as she managed to drop the Timeless One with a cheap shot while the latter was distracted from her confrontation with the debuting Ronda Rousey. To finally settle their score, it was announced that Toni and Marina would face off once again in a No Holds Barred match this week on AEW Dynamite.
Prior to the show, however, a backstage exclusive revealed that Storm had been viciously attacked in her dressing room, disqualifying her from competition. The former AEW Women’s World Champion’s tag partner, Mina Shirakawa, ended up facing Shafir instead, keen for revenge under the assumption that Marina was the mystery assailant. The Venus of Pro-Wrestling was able to avenge Storm on Dynamite by defeating the Death Riders member with Storm’s own finishing move.
A few hours ago, the official X/Twitter profile of All Elite Wrestling shared a photograph of the “Illustrious” Toni Storm laid out on the floor bloody and unconscious backstage this Wednesday. Shirakawa responded to the post with an emotional message:
“I can’t believe this happened. Unforgivable.” – Mina wrote.
