“This is nonsense”: Colin Cowherd sounds off on Bears possibly relocating to Indiana after proposed $5,000,000,000 offer
NFL analyst Colin Cowherd doesn’t seem to link the idea of the Chicago Bears potentially relocating to Indiana. Last month, the state of Indiana made an offer for the Bears to build their new $5 billion stadium, as the team reportedly plans to depart Soldier Field. The move has been gathering pace
On Monday, Cowherd offered his clear thoughts on the situation.
Thanks for the submission!
“The idea that you pull a stadium out and put it in northern Indiana,” Colin Cowherd said on “The Volume” podcast. “And again, for people that don’t know what’s in northern Indiana, the answer is: nothing. So, I look at it, and I think, ‘this is nonsense.’ JB Pritzker (Governor of Illinois) is gonna run circles around the McCaskey family and all the kids.”

Colin Cowherd makes big admission about Bears QB Caleb Williams

Last week, Colin Cowherd claimed that Bears quarterback Caleb Williams could be one of the best overall signal-callers in the league.
“We’re getting into a discussion where if you count everything, that Caleb Williams may very quickly be the best quarterback,” Cowherd said on his “The Herd” show. “You’ve got to count everything with a quarterback, including the cost. There’s a reason why the Buffalo Bills have no Pro Bowlers on defense and the Bears have a stacked roster, it’s because Caleb Williams cost $10 million a year, it’s a 3.5% cap hit, Lamar Jackson is going to have a 25% cap hit.
“If you count mobility, health, arm, lack of turnovers, this year he corrected negative plays, it’s Caleb Williams. I don’t care about resume or past celebrations or failures. I’m into projecting 2026 Labor Day Weekend, is Caleb the best quarterback in the league?”
Williams led the Bears to the NFC North title last season. The Bears beat the Green Bay Packers in the wild-card round, but crashed out of the postseason with a loss to the LA Rams in the divisional round.
