Spencer Torkelson’s wife Makenna pens heartfelt message reliving wedding day and start of their forever

Detroit Tigers first baseman Spencer Torkelson’s wife, Makenna, shared her wedding video on Instagram on Saturday. The clip included highlights of her bridal entry alongside her father, a champagne toast, and the couple’s ballroom dance. The wedding took place at Montage Healdsburg in California.
The wedding planner Carly Saber shared the clip with a small note.
“Makenna and Spencer’s wedding day was the kind that reminds us why we love what we do – effortless, romantic, and filled with the people who matter most✨,” Saber wrote.

“Incredible love reliving this day,” Makenna wrote.

The couple tied the knot on Nov 8, and Makenna called it,
“Best day of our lives.”
Makenna and Torkelson got engaged in January 2024. They had been dating for a very long time. In August 2020, Makenna shared a throwback photo wishing him a happy 21st birthday.
“9 years later and look where we ended up 💓 Happy 21st Spen, loving you is too easy,” Makenna wrote.
Spencer Torkelson’s wife, Makenna, enjoyed a romantic vacation in Hawaii.
After a dreamy wedding, Spencer Torkelson and Makenna went on a romantic getaway to Kaua’i, Hawaii. Makenna posted a photo dump of her vacation on Instagram in November. The couple enjoyed sightseeing and relaxing at the beach.
“A week in paradise 🍯🌙,” Makenna captioned the photo.

Makenna also supports Torkelson’s baseball career. In October, she posted a series of images with Detroit Girlies cheering at the mound for their partners. The Detroit Tigers clinched a postseason spot in 2025 but lost in the ALDS against the Seattle Mariners.
She captioned it, “Postseason 2025 🧡 Proud of my guy and thankful for it all!!”
In 2025, Spencer Torkelson posted a decent performance with a .240 batting average, 31 homers and 78 RBIs.
