“Shame on you” – Serious accusation made against Bryan Danielson by ex-AEW star

A former AEW star recently targeted Bryan Danielson on social media. The ex-AEW World Champion semi-retired from in-ring competition last year due to neck issues. He joined the commentary team a few months ago, and fans have been enjoying his perspective on wrestling. For a long time, he has also been involved backstage, mostly as a consultant.

Sarah Stock, a former AEW coach, has been firing shots at the Jacksonville-based promotion lately. She recently disclosed how AEW is inhumane towards its Mexican employees. The former AEW personality also argued with Ricochet on social media. She also went after Sonjay Dutt, QT Marshall, and Danielson, accusing them of corruption.

Recently, the 46-year-old took to X and claimed that Bryan Danielson did nothing to stop the backstage corruption when the former AEW World Champion could have.

“Shame on you, Daniel. You knew and you did nothing. You were in a position to put an end to it,” she wrote.

Bryan Danielson reveals his role backstage

The American Dragon has been wrestling for decades and is considered one of the all-time greats. Although he no longer competes in the squared circle, he’s been helping talent backstage.

While speaking at Starrcast 2025, Bryan Danielson said he had worked as a consultant in the past and watched the product while on a hiatus earlier this year.

“Yeah. I am officially a consultant. But I mean I don’t—I honestly don’t do much consulting. I haven’t had much of anything to do with creative in AEW for a while. But I think the AEW shows for the last several months have just been incredible. You know, I watch the product every week at home—both shows—and I just think that the people that are…the wrestlers, the people involved in the creative, everybody’s doing just such a great job,” Danielson stated.

It remains to be seen who will be Sarah Stock’s next target.
