Paul Skenes’ girlfriend Olivia Dunne opened up after missing the former’s first WBC game
Pittsburgh Pirates ace Paul Skenes is playing in his first World Baseball Classic this year. He made his first start for Team USA on Monday versus Mexico.
However, Skenes’ girlfriend, Olivia Dunne, was not at Dalkin Park in Houston to watch him play. She posted a video holding the pitcher’s USA jersey. The influencer added “getting excited to watch your bf rep the USA” as the overlay text of the cover image.
The next frame showed Dunne in a different outfit with the text overlay “misses game.”
“Ya girl had work but… GO USA RAHHH 🦅🗣️🇺🇸 #usa #baseball #wbc #sports,” Dunne wrote on Instagram.
While Dunne missed Monday’s matchup, she was in attendance during one of Team USA’s exhibition games in Arizona on March 3.
The couple met at LSU and started dating in 2023. Dunne comes from an athletic background and was part of the school’s gymnastics team from 2021-2025. She announced her retirement from the sport in April.
