NXT General Manager Robert Stone has highlighted unsung heroes in WWE

Robert Stone was made the NXT’s General Manager last month. Maybe, out of gratitude or as a gesture of honor, he thanks a member of the WWE team. Mostly, those who don’t get much on-screen spotlight. This time, Stone has highlighted WWE Evolve’s commentary team.

The NXT GM took to X to write that he was part of Evolve’s commentary team last year. It was humbling for him, even then, to understand how hard the job is when there is a willingness to make it great. Telling those stories, taking notes, and promoting shows consume one’s mind 24/7, keeping them thinking about it.

“The past year, when I was doing commentary for #WWEEvolve, was humbling. It really showed me how hard the job is when you want to make it great. Telling stories, constantly taking notes, promoting shows… It’s truly a 24/7 job of nonstop thinking. The entire announce team does an incredible job making sure every WWE Superstar is highlighted the right way,” wrote Robert Stone.

Robert also noted that the commentary team on NXT now does an incredible job of highlighting every star in the right way. Without those voices, the grand entrances and interviews wouldn’t be the same. So, calling them a ‘motley crew,’ he rhetorically asked how they could not be highlighted this week.

“Without their voices delivering those big entrance intros or setting the stage for interviews, the feeling just wouldn’t be the same. So how could this motley crew not be the #BuiltFromStone highlight of the week??? Thanks for the countless hours you put in helping complete the package that is NXT.”

The NXT GM posted pictures taken at the commentary table. Starting from left, it was Sarah Schreiber, Vic Joseph, Robert himself, Blake Howard, and Mike Rome. Robert Stone concluded by writing that they should be thanked for the countless hours they put into completing the whole package that gets made in NXT.
