Mercedes Moné suddenly drops massive hint at her future amid continuous AEW absence
Mercedes Moné has just made an interesting appearance and may have hinted at her next move. This comes after her continued hiatus from AEW, which has no end date as of now.
The CEO has not been around since early in the year. After her series of setbacks to close out 2025, she made one more appearance during the first AEW Dynamite of the year, and then took a break from the company. She has not been seen in the ring since and has not appeared in any wrestling capacity.
Mercedes Moné took to her Instagram Story earlier today to post that she was in attendance for ROH’s latest tapings in Jacksonville. The promotion usually tapes its shows on the same night as Dynamite and Collision, but this time around, it held a standalone show at WJCT Studios. It is unclear why Moné is around, but this may be a hint at a possible appearance on the promotion.

Mercedes Moné is set to make her in-ring return this week
The CEO may still be on a hiatus from AEW, but she is set to make her return to the ring in a few days as part of her Moné March Madness Tour. Despite dropping some of her titles to end 2025, she is still following through with her commitments and defending the rest of her belts around the world.
Mercedes will be making her in-ring return this Friday as she’ll put her CMLL World Women’s Championship on the line against Persephone. This will be a rematch as the two clashed for the title back in October.
After a three-month break from the ring, it remains to be seen whether Mercedes Moné is still in a great enough form to hold on to her belts or if she’ll begin dropping them one by one. She is also set to defend the rest of her titles in Europe and Canada following this brief stint in Arena Mexico.
