Marlon Humphrey rips Charles Omenihu for taking shots at Lamar Jackson with latest comments

Washington Commanders defensive end Charles Omenihu threw shade at Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson during an appearance on the “Speakeasy” podcast on Thursday. Omenihu compared Jackson with Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, and outlined the difference between the two.

“Lamar, honestly, you bring a 5-man rush on him and collapse that pocket, he’ll make a play that isn’t the best for the Ravens,” Omenihu said. “The league hasn’t figured out Josh Allen yet. They’ve figured out Lamar Jackson.”

When Jackson’s teammate Marlon Humphrey caught wind of Omenihu’s comments, the Baltimore cornerback slammed the Commanders DE.

“How to get clout 101. Mention Lamar Jackson,” Humphrey tweeted on Friday.

In March, the Ravens reportedly restructured Jackson’s contract to create nearly $40 million in salary cap space. The QB had signed a five-year, $260 million extension with Baltimore in the 2023 offseason.

Jackson is tied down to the Ravens through the 2027 season. However, Baltimore is reportedly still aiming to extend the QB’s deal.

The Ravens own the No. 14 pick in this year’s NFL draft. They failed to make the playoffs last season, and will be aiming to bolster their roster with the talent in the upcoming class.

The Ravens are reportedly targeting an offensive lineman in the first round to offer some more protection to Jackson.
