A major WWE star explained why they turned heel following their attack on Rhea Ripley this past Friday night on SmackDown. Ripley won the Women’s Elimination Chamber match at the PLE last month to become the number one contender to the WWE Women’s Championship.

Michin (Mia Yim) and B-Fab aligned with WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill this past Friday night on SmackDown. The trio attacked Rhea Ripley and left her beaten down in the ring. Michin took to Instagram today to explain her action and noted that she remembered Ripley having issues with The OC back in the day.

“The enemy of my enemy is my friend. The OC remembers. 🤘🏽,” she wrote.

Michin used to be in The OC faction alongside AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson. Rhea Ripley was once a prominent member of The Judgment Day, and the faction had a rivalry with The OC in the past. Ripley will be challenging Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 42 next month.

Popular WWE star wants a dream match against Rhea Ripley

Zena Sterling recently made it known that she wanted the opportunity to face Rhea Ripley in a dream match.

Speaking on TMZ Sports’ Inside the Ring podcast, Sterling shared that her dream match in the promotion was to face Ripley. The Evolve star stated that Ripley had always inspired her and wanted to face her in a title match down the line.

“She’s always been an inspiration of mine because she got to the Performance Center when she was 19, just like me and she was once shy as well. I feel like we just connect on so many levels and I see myself in her. So, it’s her development and where she is now. Over time as I develop that same way and get better, I feel like that could be a cool, little match,” Sterling said. [H/T Wrestling Observer]

Jade Cargill became champion by defeating Tiffany Stratton at Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1, 2025. It will be interesting to see if Ripley can dethrone the former AEW star at WrestleMania 42.
