Lungi Ngidi gets rid of dangerous-looking Suryakumar Yadav for 51 via lbw in DC vs MI IPL 2025 match
Lungi Ngidi got rid of a well-set Suryakumar Yadav in the IPL 2026 match between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Saturday, April 4. The speedster removed the MI’s stand-in-captain for 51 off 36 balls as the opponents lost half their side for 122.
The dismissal came in the 16th over of MI’s innings. Ngidi bowled a pace off delivery around the good length area. The ball kept low and hit the back pad as Yadav failed to connect his pull shot. The on-field umpire adjudged him out, but Yadav went for a review after a discussion with his batting partner, Naman Dhir. The replays showed the ball would’ve crashed into the off-stump.

Notably, the 35-year-old was the second-highest run-getter last season, amassing 717 runs in 16 innings at a strike rate of 167.47, comprising five half-centuries.
