Former Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce’s wife, Kylie Kelce, opened up about Breezy Johnson’s engagement to her boyfriend, Connor Watkins, at the Winter Olympics. Watkins proposed to the ski racer in Italy last week, and they announced the good news on Instagram.

Johnson will be featured on this week’s episode of Kylie’s “Not Gonna Lie” podcast and a trailer was released on Instagram on Wednesday.

In the short clip, Kylie backed Johnson.

“I feel very strongly about the fact that people who are trolls and want to be like, ‘boo hoo, that shouldn’t have happened,’ is crazy, because what an incredible time,” Kylie said.

Johnson also shut down the trolls.

“Getting engaged at the Olympics does not steal your spotlight, it just makes it that much cooler,” Johnson said. “I just thought it would be really fun to bring the two loves of my life together. I had talked to him about it. A lot of people were like ‘He’s stealing your spotlight.’ I was like ‘You clearly didn’t pay attention. I won the downhill three days ago.’”

Breezy Johnson won the women’s downhill event at the Olympics on Feb. 8. Just three days later, her boyfriend proposed to her at the finish line of her super-G race.

Travis Kelce’s fiancée, Taylor Swift, reacted to Breezy Johnson’s engagement

Last week, Breezy Johnson shared the good news of her engagement to Connor Watkins by posting a joint Instagram post. She shared several snaps of the beautiful moment with a sweet caption.

“Hey guys… meet Connor! My ex boyfriend! And current fiancé!!! 💍 Thank you to everyone who made this moment possible. It was everything I ever dreamed of. Kind of like Connor,” she wrote.

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce’s fiancée, Taylor Swift, reacted in the comments section.

“‘Where’s the trophy? He just comes running over to me.’ CONGRATULATIONS,” Swift wrote.

Kelce and Swift got engaged last year. The tight end proposed to her in a flower-themed garden he created in the backyard of his house. They announced the big news in August and plan to walk down the aisle in the summer.
