“KP gotta be stopped with the b**ty grab” – WNBA Fans Erupt After Kelsey Plum Awkwardly Reaches for Caitlin Clark During Team USA’s FIBA Practice

Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Plum and other WNBA stars selected for the USA Women’s National Basketball team are into training camp before the FIBA Women’s World Cup qualifiers.

On Saturday, an X user shared a video of Plum and Clark entering the gym in their national team gear. In the video, the Sparks guard is seen dancing while walking through the door. The Indiana Fever’s star guard walks past her while smiling and Plum grabs her by her lower waist.

Fans swarmed the post’s comments section with their opinions on the interaction between the two stars.

“Yooo KP gotta be stopped with the booty grab 😂😂😂” one fan said.

“Plum can never keep her hands of players’ a**es even when not playing. Girl,” another fan commented.

“Why KP already grabbing butts man? 😂” another fan said.

“Plum is a spoiled brat bum. Caitlyn doesn’t need her bad mojo hanging around,” said another fan.

One fan trolled Kelsey Plum for touching other players.

“Plum not beating the allegations. Always touching ass,” the fan commented.

“Yeah until you put a microphone in front of her and sounds like a total a**hole,” another fan said.

The USA Women’s National Basketball team will play their first World Cup qualifier against Senegal on Wednesday.

Caitlin Clark to make national team debut at the FIBA World Cup qualifiers

Caitlin Clark will join Kelsey Plum, Angel Reese, Paige Bueckers, Kahleah Cooper, Chelsea Gray, and Jackie Young on the USA Women’s National Basketball team. Clark, Reese and Bueckers will all be making their national team debut on Wednesday in the qualifying game.

Plum, Cooper, Gray and Young, on the other hand, have previously represented the USA and have won gold medals in various tournaments. Wednesday will be the first time Caitlin Clark will be playing in an official game in seven months.

She last played in the Fever’s 85-77 win over the Connecticut Sun. She suffered a reaggravated groin injury in that game. The groin injury kept her on the sidelines for the rest of the 2025 season.

The Fever managed to surprise everyone and make a deep playoff run without their star guard. They reached the semifinals, losing the series 3-2 to the Las Vegas Aces, who went on to win the championship.

Caitlin Clark averaged 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 8.8 assists in 13 games on 36.7% shooting last season.
