Ishan Kishan, Aditi Hundia & other teammates spotted at famous Ahmedabad cafe ahead of IND vs NZ T20 World Cup 2026 final [Watch]

Indian cricketer Ishan Kishan was spotted with his rumored girlfriend Aditi Hudia, a model, at a famous Ahmedabad cafe ahead of the T20 World Cup 2026 final. The match has been scheduled to be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, March 8.

In a video doing the rounds on Instagram, the wicketkeeper-batter also accompanied some of the Indian teammates, including Abhishek Sharma and Arshdeep Singh.

Earlier this year, Kishan’s grandfather, Anurag Pandey, confirmed that the cricketer is dating Aditi. While backing Kishan to decide his own future, he told ANI (via NDTV):

“Whoever Ishan chooses to marry, I fully accept. We are ready to accept whoever Ishan Kishan wants to marry. Aditi is his girlfriend. She is a model. One should accept what makes children happy.”

Later, Kishan’s mother, Suchitra Devi, denied the rumors, calling them baseless. While urging Kishan to focus on his game, she told IANS (via NDTV):

“It’s not about marriage; it’s time for him to play cricket. He’s not old enough to talk about marriage. Grandpa is getting a little old. Old people are always a little excited. Something or the other keeps coming up on social media. He said all this based on what he saw on social media.”

Ishan Kishan is India’s leading run-scorer in the T20 World Cup 2026

Ishan Kishan is currently the leading run-getter for the Men in Blue in the T20 World Cup 2026. The 27-year-old has amassed 263 runs in eight matches at a strike rate of 189.20, including two half-centuries, with a best score of 77 (40) against Pakistan. The left-hander smashed 39 off 18 balls in the semifinal against England. The southpaw will now look to continue his purple patch in the final.

Amid Abhishek Sharma’s failures, former India captain Sunil Gavaskar has advised the team management to open with Kishan ahead of the T20 World Cup 2026 final against New Zealand. The cricketer-turned-analyst told India Today:

“I would like to see Ishan Kishan open the batting with Sanju Samson, with Rinku Singh coming into the side. Rinku has that belief—you’ve probably seen the ‘God’s Plan’ tattoo on his body—and sometimes things just work out for players like him.

“It’s a very tough call. Abhishek Sharma is the No. 1 batter in the ICC T20 rankings, but he hasn’t learned from his dismissals. He keeps getting out in the same region where his arms are cramped for room. Bowlers are targeting that area and forcing mistakes. My concern is that he either hasn’t adjusted yet or is unable to change his approach.”

Earlier, Ravi Shastri and Ricky Ponting also came up with similar sentiments ahead of the T20 World Cup 2026 final.
