Is Bhad Bhabie dead? Viral social media claim debunked
The rumors about Bhad Bhabie’s death are unfounded, and the rapper is still alive. The speculation about her alleged death came after her worrying update regarding her cancer on February 28.
Bhad Bhabie, whose real name is Danielle Peskowitz Bregoli, shared a post on X (formerly Twitter), writing:
“Bad news from my doctor yesterday, god has the last say so not my cancer .”
While many users expressed their support in the comments and quotes, it also started some rumors online. Some users made hyperbolic comments like “She’s dead”, which led some to believe it was actually true. However, it’s untrue, and she is not dead.
Bhabie, notably, announced that she had cancer in November 2024 after she slammed online trolls who criticized her appearance. She uploaded an Instagram story, writing:
“I’m sorry my cancer medicine made me loose [sic] weight. I’m slowly gaining it back. So, stop running with the worst narratives.”
The rapper has been open about going through different procedures while undergoing treatment for it. In January last year, she revealed that she got a nose job, which led to criticism from users online.
Bhad Bhabie slammed the critics and wrote on social media (h/t PEOPLE):
“I don’t know who told y’all you can’t get surgery when you have cancer. I was cleared by my dr mind the business that pays you. Lying about plastic surgery is a problem and clearly so is telling the truth about having it. I choose to b open with y’all about what I have done and mfs still make sh*t a problem. Y’all are crazy. Y’all mfs so worried about me and y’all don’t even know what kind of cancer I have! It’s not breast cancer that is a rumor.”
Bhabie hasn’t provided any update on the type or stage of her cancer.

Bhad Bhabie’s mother slams users who criticize her daughter

After her latest health update, Bhad Bhabie received numerous hate comments, including some labeling her cancer “karma”. This led to her mother, Barbara Bregoli, uploading a video on Instagram and slamming these comments and criticisms.
She said:
“Let me say this, social media has become an app where people think they can come on here and say the most vile things and think it’s funny because they’re hiding behind a screen.”
“But to turn around and say someone who has cancer, that’s their karma, that’s a low form. That’s the lowest form of anything. Babies don’t ask to get cancer, little children don’t ask to get cancer, the elderly don’t ask to get—nobody asks to get cancer,” she added.
She also warned such critics that while they claim cancer to be someone else’s “karma”, it could become theirs one day. She urged people not to comment about things they haven’t experienced.
Barbara had also slammed people in 2024 who claimed that Bhad Bhabie was faking her cancer diagnosis. It came after the rapper had given birth to her daughter, Kali Love, with ex-partner Le Vaughn in March 2024.
