There are many instances in which WWE stars suffer real-life scary incidents. Recently, the backstage interviewer, Cathy Kelley, shared a horrific incident in which she was almost carjacked during a trip.

In a recent conversation on the ZELVX and CHARLIE GIRL YouTube channel, Cathy disclosed the details of the incident with Zelina Vega and Dakota Kai. The star revealed that they were driving into Milan. During this, two men approached their car and tried to trick them by claiming a fault in their car tire.

Furthermore, Cathy added that the car’s tires were fine and not flat. Also, the WWE employee revealed that this happened on the city’s edge.

“I was almost carjacked in Italy. So, I tried to do a lot of solo experiences… we were actually driving into Milan from another city that we had stopped at,” she said. “As we were pulling into the city, we saw this one guy—he had like a Rolex or something—get it stolen right off the street. Then we’re driving a little further, and something else like that caught our attention. Then we’re on the edge of the city, and these two guys on Vespas come up on either side. We realized he was saying ‘flat tire,’ but our tire pressure was fine, so we kept driving.”

Adding to this, the backstage interviewer called the entire situation a setup. This is evident because she revealed that those two men were distracting them by forcing them to pull over and claiming there was traffic ahead.

However, Cathy revealed that the area was quieter, with the streets not busy at that moment.

“I think that’s when the other person popped the tire in the back and sped off—but we didn’t clock it because he’s distracting us. He’s like, ‘Pull over, pull over.’… ‘No, no, no—down further, too much traffic. I’ll help you change it.’ But it was a much quieter area, not a busy street—and that’s when my instincts started going off.” [H/T RingsideNews]

After Cathy started recording the entire situation, they managed to escape. Later, when she watched the clip, it was clear that those men were buying time and were connected to other people via earpieces.

This scary incident was not only horrific but also ruined the vacation of the WWE female star.

“The vacation was kind of ruined, but we were really lucky. It could have been so much worse. They told us they see this about once a week. What usually happens is they get you to take your bags out… and then a van pulls up, takes all your stuff, and drives off.” (H/T: RingsideNews)
