“He’s carrying the WWE right now”- Two-time UFC champion praises Oba Femi

Former WWE NXT Champion Oba Femi’s future in the Stamford-based promotion looks even brighter than ever since his main roster call-up. The Ruler is all set to make his WrestleMania debut against Brock Lesnar.

Recently, in an interview on Full Send MMA, two-time UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya was asked about his top-five WWE theme songs of all time. He named Rey Mysterio, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Stacy Kiebler, and The Godfather’s theme songs among his favorites.

While discussing wrestling theme songs, The Last Stylebender spoke highly of Oba Femi.

“I’d say right now, Oba Femi. I really like the way he just moves. I like the way he’s carrying the WWE right now. He’s the guy. He’s just like, he’s got that swagger. So shout out to Oba Femi. It’s not Oba, it’s Oba Femi. That’s the guy right now,” Adesanya said. (H/T: Fightful)

Oba Femi reacts after humiliating WWE legend

The March 23 episode of Monday Night RAW saw The Ruler and Brock Lesnar come face-to-face for the first time since the former NXT Champion powerbombed The Beast Incarnate. Femi shocked the world again as he managed to block Lesnar’s F5 and clothesline him over the top rope, humiliating the legend.

The Stamford-based promotion posted a video of the rising star on its official Instagram account following the segment. In the video, Femi claimed that no man in the world could touch him.

“The real ruler is here. The conqueror of conquerors is here, the one who beats the one is here. Nobody can stop me. There’s nobody like me. No man on the earth can touch me,” Femi said.

That said, it will be interesting to see how the Femi-Lesnar saga unfolds with WrestleMania 42 on the horizon.
