Hall of Famer spotted ahead of WWE SmackDown

WWE is on the road to the biggest event of the year, and a Hall of Famer might have accidentally spoiled their return ahead of Friday Night SmackDown.

The Royal Rumble kicked off the road to WrestleMania in Nevada, and one of the biggest returns of the night was Brie Bella. The former Divas Champion returned in Riyadh and reunited with Nikki Bella during the gimmick match. On the Monday Night RAW following the event, they announced The Bella Twins are back.

Unfortunately, the two haven’t appeared on the weekly product or competed under any capacity since the gimmick match in Saudi Arabia. Recently, Nikki Bella uploaded a story on Instagram where she held a drink in her hand. This might’ve accidentally spoiled her return.

Eagle-eyed fans have connected the dots and believe the picture from Bella’s story is from a restaurant called La Grande Orange Grocery & Pizzeria. The establishment is located in Phoenix, Arizona, where tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown takes place.

The story doesn’t mention Brie Bella, and she’s not in the picture, which means The Fearless One could appear on her own on the blue brand, or she might not appear at all. It’ll be interesting to see what’s next for The Bella Twins heading into WrestleMania 42.

WWE HoFers The Bella Twins want to capture championship gold

The Bella Twins have dominated competition together in the Stamford-based promotion during their prime. Nikki and Brie are former Divas Champions, but it was a different time for female performers in the company under the old regime.

In the coming years, the company evolved, and a women’s division was formed following a Divas Revolution. Later, new titles were added across all three brands, including the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

In an appearance on Good Morning America, the twins addressed their reunion on the red brand, and stated what’s next for them under the new regime. The legendary duo wants the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

The two weren’t around when the titles were introduced, and Nikki and Brie want to hold those titles before they can fully retire from in-ring competition. It’ll be interesting to see if they get an opportunity at the titles at WrestleMania 42.
