Chiefs makes stance clear on Tyreek Hill as WR seeks new home after getting cut by Dolphins: Report
Tyreek Hill and the Kansas City Chiefs never truly parted ways and as a result, the rumors of their reunion began immediately after he was released by the Dolphins.
Hill became an unrestricted free agent when the Dolphins cut the veteran receiver to clear $22.8 million in cap space. Chiefs’ Chris Jones publicly hinted at a return within hours, posting a message on X encouraging Hill to return.
Thanks for the submission!
ESPN’s Nate Taylor reports that the Chiefs plan to “keep tabs” on Hill’s rehab from surgery on a dislocated knee and a torn ACL.

Given Hill’s age and his injury, a short-term deal with incentives appears to be a realistic path for both parties. It will allow Hill to prove his worth while giving the Chiefs’ offense a familiar deep threat with Patrick Mahomes under center.
