There was a major title change tonight on WWE SmackDown, as the winner used John Cena’s Attitude Adjustment to pick up the win. The title change came out of nowhere.

R-Truth and Damian Priest are the new WWE Tag Team Champions

R-Truth and Damian Priest qualified to challenge the MFTs for the Tag Team Championships by defeating their opponents in the gauntlet match. They pinned Los Garza to win the bout and become the No. 1 Contenders. The match was a big bout, with Tama Tonga and JC Mateo facing them representing the MFTs.

The match was ongoing for sometime before R-Truth hit the running shoulder tackles and the Five Knuckle Shuffle, paying tribute to John Cena. He tried to hit the AA as well, but Tonga and JC Mateo teamed up to hit several moves to try and end the match.

Truth even locked in the STF soon after this. Unfortunately, Talla Tonga hit Truth with the chokeslam while Solo Sikoa distracted the referee. Truth survived and the Wyatt Sicks attacked Talla Tonga and Tonga Loa, while Uncle Howdy took out Solo Sikoa.

This proved to be a major distraction as JC Mateo came out to save Sikoa. He came back into the ring to be hit with the Attitude Adjustment by R-Truth, who picked up the win for his team with John Cena’s move.

As a result, R-Truth and Damian Priest are now the new WWE Tag Team Champions.

The two have won, while the MFT and Wyatt Sicks rivalry continued.
