BREAKING: Major AEW Star Set To Return After Over Five Months

A fan-favorite AEW star has been announced for an in-ring return after more than five months of absence. The star was dealing with an injury that kept her out of action for all these months.

The major AEW star Queen Aminata is finally set to return to action. The 32-year-old star has been with All Elite Wrestling since 2021 and has managed to become one of the most beloved babyfaces in the company as well. She formed a tag team with Jamie Hayter last year to participate in the Women’s World Tag title tournament as well.

However, Hayter and Aminata got eliminated in the first round of the tournament. Queen was also slated to compete in the women’s Blood and Guts match before she got injured. After over five months of absence due to injury, Queen Aminata will finally be making her in-ring return with the TBS title match next week on Dynamite.

After Willow Nightingale successfully defended her TBS Championship in a match against a returning Hikaru Shida this week on Collision, it was announced that Willow will put her title on the line next week on Dynamite against a returning Queen Aminata as well.

AEW star on the fear of taking a bump in the ring

The AEW star Queen Aminata has been recovering from a knee injury since October 2025. In February, Aminata opened up on her fear of taking her first bump in the ring upon return.

In her YouTube vlog, Queen Aminata explained how the first bump is scary for her:

“Hopefully everything continues to look good so I can get back in the ring and start rolling around and take that first bump — which is very, very scary. I don’t know why I’m freaking out about it. I’ve been doing this for almost 10 years, but taking a bump is scary. Especially when you get hurt and you come back, and they’re like, ‘Okay, take your first bump.’ I don’t care what anybody says — to me, it’s nerve-wracking.”

It will be interesting to see if Queen Aminata will manage to capture the TBS title upon her in-ring return next Wednesday.
