BREAKING: Hangman Page stretchered out at AEW Revolution 2026; MJF humiliates him
AEW stars MJF and Hangman Page wrestle in one of the bloodiest battles at the Revolution pay-per-view. This was the third time the two stars faced off on an AEW pay-per-view.
Last year, they competed at Revolution and Forbidden Door, where The Cowboy came out on top both times. During the latter pay-per-view, Hangman’s AEW World Title was on the line. Tonight, they met again in the main event of Revolution, where Maxwell Jacob Friedman’s championship was on the line.
Ahead of the pay-per-view, it was decided that if Hangman Page loses tonight’s match, he will never be able to challenge for the title ever again. The stakes were raised even more after Tony Khan announced the match as a Texas Death Match.
The bout consisted of everything a fan would expect in a Texas Death Match. Barbed wire, syringe, steel chair, table, glass, dog collar, and tube lights. The bloody contest saw both stars getting slammed on broken glass and barbed wire. The match even had multiple callbacks.

At one point, MJF put a syringe through The Cowboy’s cheeks and tried to put a chair through his head. This was how Page defeated Swerve Strickland at All Out 2024. Later, Hangman tied a dog collar to both stars. The last time Friedman wore a dog collar was against CM Punk at Revolution 2022. The ending saw MJF choke The Cowboy, the same way he defeated Jon Moxley at All In: Texas.
After the brutal match, the former AEW World Champion was being stretchered out. Maxwell then stood on a stretcher and flaunted his victory by standing over his unconscious body. It will be interesting to see what happens next for Hangman Page now that he’s no longer in the running for the AEW World Championship. Meanwhile, MJF has cemented his legacy as an all-time great by delivering a great contest. Fans are now waiting for the champion’s next challenger.
