BREAKING: 8-Time Champion Set to Return on WWE RAW
A popular WWE Superstar is officially set to make his return to Monday Night RAW. He had been absent since the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event.
The aforementioned star is the former two-time WWE Champion, three-time Intercontinental Champion, two-time WWE Tag Team Champion, and one-time United States Champion AJ Styles. The Phenomenal One faced Gunther at Royal Rumble with the stipulation that he would retire if he lost. Unfortunately, that is exactly what happened, and the veteran had to hang up his wrestling boots.
Thanks for the submission!
Last week on RAW, it was announced that the Stamford-based wrestling promotion would celebrate AJ Styles’ iconic career on the February 23 edition of the red brand show. In the preview for the show posted on the official website, the global juggernaut has now revealed that the 48-year-old would be at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, in person, making his return to the red brand.
Wrestling veteran made a massive claim about AJ Styles’ future after his WWE retirement
During his conversation with Conrad Thompson in a recent edition of his My World With Jeff Jarrett podcast, wrestling veteran Jeff Jarrett made an intriguing claim about AJ Styles’ future in professional wrestling.
The 58-year-old suggested that we haven’t seen the last of AJ Styles inside the squared circle just yet. Jarrett, however, noted that it could take as long as a year or even two for The Phenomenal One to wrestle his next bout.
“We have not seen the last of AJ Styles in the ring… It may be a year. It may be two years. I don’t know,” Jarrett said. “The taking off gloves and not, all that kind of stuff, it’s curious. It’s certainly right up there in the top three, top five stories of, ‘What’s going to happen next?’” [H/T: Fightful via X]
Only time will tell if AJ Styles ever returns to in-ring action. However, for the time being, it will be interesting to see what plans WWE has in store for the tribute show.
