Andrade has given himself a new name. However, his name won’t make a two-time World Champion happy.

MJF has grown to become one of the top stars in AEW. He is undoubtedly their best homegrown talent and is also one of the most popular stars on the roster. Maxwell is the current reigning AEW World Champion. Ever since winning the title, he has a lot of challengers gunning for him. He will be defending the title against Hangman Page at Revolution 2026. Apart from this, Kenny Omega, Swerve Strickland, and El Idolo all want a shot at his title. El Idolo even went an extra step and fired a shot at The Devil.

El Idolo recently changed his name on X to say “”EL IDOLO” ANDRADE better than MJF!!!” This name won’t make the AEW World Champion happy.

This online spat between El Idolo and MJF has been going on for some time. Based on his messages, it looks like he has a point to prove.

El Idolo posted a message for Bandido a while ago. In his rant, he namedropped Maxwell and claimed to be the best Mexican wrestler today.

“Yes, and it’s true, I hate hitting Mexicans, but this time is different! Do you know why I confronted you? Because people say @bandidowrestler was the best wrestler of 2025 and all that garbage. When my whole life in the business I’ve had great matches in every company, I’m in better shape than you. I’m better, I have more experience, I can handle all styles, and you know very well that I’m not MJF, and you know that I’m the best wrestler from the Laguna and the best Mexican wrestler today, and one of the best in the world. Reza por que tu sueño se cumpla!!” wrote Andrade.

It looks like these two men are headed for a feud.
