Adam Pearce teases major punishment for popular WWE star following RAW
Adam Pearce teased a major punishment for a WWE Superstar following last night’s edition of RAW at Madison Square Garden in New York. Pearce attempted to break up a confrontation last night on the red brand, but it backfired.
Oba Femi has accepted Brock Lesnar’s Open Challenge for WWE WrestleMania 42 and has gotten the better of The Beast Incarnate the past few weeks on RAW. Femi and Lesnar were about to brawl in the ring last night when Adam Pearce and the company’s security team showed up.
Thanks for the submission!
Femi launched Pearce into the barricade outside the ring, and the RAW GM took to social media today to suggest that a fine was in order. He also nicknamed the Nigerian star “Oba Finemi” in his post.
“Oba FINEmi,” wrote Pearce.
Triple H also showed up during the confrontation between Femi and Lesnar to separate both stars last night on RAW.
Adam Pearce comments on potentially returning to the ring in WWE
RAW GM Adam Pearce responded to a fan who wanted to see the promotion highlight his past in professional wrestling more.
Pearce took to his Instagram story earlier this month to address the possibility of an in-ring return. The veteran noted that he appreciated the fans who wanted to see him return to the ring, but added that he would not be upset if it never happened. Pearce stated that the promotion had done so much for his family, and he would forever be grateful.
“If I never wrestle again, in WWE or elsewhere, tears will not be shed by me. I understand there are people out there that would like to see me wrestle again. I appreciate it very much. But either way, my appreciation and gratitude to WWE for what it does for millions of people, and for what it has done for me and my family specifically, will never be diminished,” he wrote.
Oba Femi relinquished the NXT Championship following his victory over Leon Slater at New Year’s Evil 2026. The 27-year-old has been impressive on the main roster so far, and only time will tell if he can conquer Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42.
