The new Fitzroy Street location will have all of your Greggs’ favourites available

A popular bakery chain is opening a new store in Cambridge today (Thursday, February 26). The new Greggs location can be found on Fitzroy Street and has created 12 jobs for the city.

The Cambridge shop has been designed with “a modern look”. The store has both indoor and outdoor seating for customers to use.

Customers will be able to pick up many of their favourite Greggs items such as the popular sausage roll, steak bake, and vegan lattice. The shop will also be offering a range of deals throughout the day including the three-part Big Deal where you can get a drink, side, and main for only £5.

Other items will be available at the store such as the mozzarella and cheddar bites, southern fried chicken goujons and a range of pizza slices. Customers can enjoy the food instore or get it delivered to their door through Just Eat and UberEATS.

Customers using the Greggs App can enjoy rewards like receiving a free item for every nine purchases they make from different categories including hot drinks and sandwiches. New users of the app will get a free hot or iced drink of their choice upon registration.

Gillian Long, Retail Operations Director for Greggs, said: “Our new shop in Cambridge has brought 12 new jobs to the local area, as well as providing customers with a modern, convenient new place to experience their Greggs favourites.”

The new Fitzroy shop will be open from 7am to 6pm daily.
